There are not many historic theaters still in operation. This Opera House seats 200+ people who will sit at a close proximity to the stage. The sound is great. I have had the opportunity to play the piano for musical comedy auditions and must say that the acoustics are wonderful. One can whisper on stage and the person in the last row will be able to hear what was said. For those who do not know, John Philip Sousa performed in this building!

The California Agriculture Museum is home to the nation's most unique collection of tractors and agriculture artifacts -- telling the history of farm-to-fork. The museum is dedicated to enhancing understanding and appreciation of California's rich cultural heritage through the presentation of its collection and rotating exhibits. The museum's core collection was established by Fred Heidrick Senior and consists of rare examples of tractors, harvester, horse-drawn wagons, and other artifacts that tell the California story.
I am not a farm guy or a farm machinery guy, but I was nonetheless impressed and fascinated by this museum. Upon entry you walk around a very large indoor building with various tractors and other pieces of machinery all arranged like in the County Fair with nice signage telling you about each vehicle and its history and usage. We spent an hour here and were all surprised. We did not have our children with us but they would have loved it.

My husband and I got to meet Mark the owner and resident of the museaum. Really neat guy he showed us around and explained so many of the items. It is not open Monday or Tuesday. Always a good idea to call and check times as they do rent out for parties. Such a nice treat and a great way to spend an afternoon. .

The rose garden at the library is cared for by the Woodland Library Rose Club, a volunteer based organization that cares for the roses and maintains the grounds around the library. This organization also does various charitable activities for the local community. And best of all, you can enjoy the fruit of their labor for free!
