John F. Kenneday Boulevard East connects Weehawken, West New York, Guttenberg and North Bergen, New Jersey.
We walk along the bouleward almost daily. The walk is really enjoyable both during day time and evenings. The walk in recent days - November 2nd week is more enjoyable during the noons when tje Sun is shining. On any day evening walks give a chance to have glimpse of lit skylines of New York which is fascinating.

This is where in 1804, Aaron Burr killed Alexander Hamilton.
Hamilton Park has the most breathtaking views of Manhattan. Additionally there is a little monument for the Alexander Hamilton - Aaron Burr duel. The actual dueling ground would have been somewhere in the trees below the cliff, so largely inaccessible. It’s beautiful and somber to consider the lives lost here (since it was home to more duels than just this famous one). We took the ferry across from the city and then took an Uber to the park. Walking to the park is not impossible, but it’s not easy and mostly uphill, making it difficult for my travel companion.

Port Imperial is two things. For the commuters it is the ferry terminal that I tend to avoid because it is too expensive and the NYC drop-offs are not very convenient (I explain more in my NY Waterway review). The second, which is what this review is, is the area of Port Imperial which is a gorgeous planned development on the Hudson. There are hotels, shops, restaurants, and IMO the most important thing, the riverwalk. Second only to Hamilton Park, these are the best views of midtown anywhere. There is parking (avoid the ferry terminal, especially on weekdays) throughout the area so if you are coming from out of town for dinner and a stroll it is convenient. Overall, a lovely place with outstanding infrastructure and views.
