We live an hour from Milwaukee and we always enjoy making a visit to the Market for the shopping experience at the specialty cheese, chocolate, spice, wine, and olive oil/balsamic vinegar vendors. I love to cook so I have purchased many of their flavored olive oils and basalmics over the years. However..... my go to choice is their 18 year old balsamic!

Big Head Brewing Co. is almost too low key to get your attention if you are not a local or not a brewery fan. It opens to the public only from Wednesday to Saturday; and it does not distribute its beers to the market. The only way you can get its beer is to visit the brewery on your own (or on the local farmer market, as I was told). However, the beers it brews cannot be discounted from the fame it received. I have tried the Spicy Mayden and Raspberry Cream Ale, both are clean, refreshing, and flavorful. I also had a sample of its IPA, which is spot-on. The brewery itself is very inviting and family friendly. A couple of picnic tables and benches are scattered inside and on the sidewalk. Free popcorn is offered for guests, along with board games, shuffleboard, and pool tables. On the Saturday afternoon I visited, I saw family with kids, couples, or solos relaxing inside and outside - a very pleasant neighborhood brewery for the locals. On its bulletin board I saw the brewery sponsors a lot of communities events, from 5K run to bike ride, a business that truly engages in the local community. So, if you happen to be in Wauwatosa area, stop by Big Head, enjoy a glass of beer, and taste the local flavor!

After a long day of site seeing we decided to stop by an Irish pub for dinner. The food amazing, our service excellent, the beer was so cold. Will definitely be stoping by again. We had cheese curds, onion rings, Ruben, grilled cheese, and tomato soup. The tomato soup was the best I ever had, and everything was so delicious. Totally recommend it!

We were visiting Milwaukee for the weekend and wanted to go to a local mall. We found this mall to be perfect to visit, especially during the holidays!! It was beautifully decorated and had such a variety of stores. They had everything from Williams-Sonoma, Kate Spade to movie theaters, Cheesecake Factory and many other stores. It was fun to get a local vibe and take in the holiday hustle and bustle while in Milwaukee.

The newly redone lanes are amazing. Tons of space, all updated, great seating, good drinks and food, and really fun atmosphere with great music, video screens and of course, bowling! 75 lanes of bowling. Loved it -- highly recommend. Can't wait to go back.
