This was a great hike! Start at the ranger station, hike around the pond, and then up to the 70 ft waterfall! Just great!

The falls were a short walk to a viewing platform. The stream leading to the falls was shallow and was suitable for soaking you feet. It was a pleasant fall day, very peaceful and quiet. We were visiting in October. The signs giving the area's history history about the falls and the native peoples were super informative. The drive up was nice as well. We did not visit the Stump House Tunnel though were heard was interesting as well.

It's a unique tunnel. It started as a unfinished railroad tunnel in the 1850s and in the 1940s Clemson used it to study the blue cheese curing process. Together with the nearby Issaqueena Falls definitely worth the visit. We visited on a Friday. Both places weren't crowded at all. Right off highway 28, parking is easy and the walk is short. Google map is wrong. Look for the "Tunnel" sign.
