Lilacs and Lombard have been going together for many, many years. Colonel William R. Plum had his Lilac garden and bequeathed it to Lombard after his passing in 1927. Check out the various events that are scheduled at this hometown favorite.

Our Museum is dedicated to the art of cutting and polishing stone. We house a world class collection of jade and hard-stone cravings along with an interactive Rock and Mineral exhibit that is great for all ages!
Went with a family member to this museum. The top level has many priceless and rare jade carvings. Also quartz and gem stones were displayed. Everything was interesting and beautiful. Lower level had videos to watch and educational displays such as where crystals and fossils are found and how they are formed. Also a very well thought out gift shop is downstairs too. Only small annoyance is my family member did not like the kind of elevator they had, it had glass type walls and was very slow. Other than that it was great.

There is still time to attend a performance of Joseph at Drury Lane. Just absolutely loved the recreated version of Joseph! We were not disappointed, but we were disappointed to see many empty seats in the audience at the normally busy 2 p.m. Sunday matinee. By all means all the people that stayed home and decided not to attend this production sometimes it is good to step out of the norm and enjoy an updated modern version for 2018!
We have been enjoying plays at Drury Lane since the early 80s and we are just blessed to have this magnificent theatre in DuPage County that continues to thrive!

We booked The Garage with Groupon. After doing 2 previous escape rooms, I thought we would have s chance however I underestimated the power of 5 excited girls! Even though we didn't escape the games master was great and really helpful to the girls. They...MoreYou're welcome Sue! We love that the girls had so much fun!

Oak Brook Mall is the best mall in Chicago's western suburbs and also one of the best in the Chicagoland area. Without a doubt, this is the place for all the best quality shops around and is a very successful mall. It is an open air outside mall. That's the only thing I don't like in the colder months, but in the nicer weather, it is great! This is the place to find quality and the service is usually consistently very good in most of the stores. Check it out!!

Such a fun experience and great value to visit the Tivoli. The price is half of the traditional theaters...as are the refreshments (and drinks and popcorn have free refills). The seats are comfortable, the screen is exceptionally large, and the venue itself has so much to admire and holds a lot of people. There is also an organ player if you go on Friday or Saturday nights. Hands down, our favorite movie theater!!

Only 25 miles west of Chicago, there's something for everyone in all four seasons at The Morton Arboretum. Whether you seek a quiet hike in the woods or an active family day out, The Morton Arboretum offers a wide variety of fun activities, events, tours, and classes for all ages and interests. Here you'll find an oasis of 16 miles of hiking trails and nine miles of paved roads, perfect for hiking, running, biking or just exploring. From a guided tour on an open-air tram to the award-winning Children's Garden and Maze Garden, to seasonal exhibits and lunch in The Ginkgo Restaurant overlooking Meadow Lake, the Arboretum is a unique place to explore, discover, escape, and connect with trees and nature.
We've been here during the summer and now the winter (for the Winter Illumination). Both times we've loved it. I was taken back by the cost to walk through a small part of the arboretum during the winter but after doing it, it was well worth the cost. The lights are beautiful. We went as a group and the adults and kids enjoyed it (even though it was close to 0 degrees). There are warming stations and fire pits along the way so you can warm up with a drink (adult drinks too) or by the fire.

Orchids by Hausermann is located just north of North Ave. on Addison Rd. We were looking for a cold weather adventure with my grandkids and decided to go here to view their orchids. They do have an extensive collection. The staff was more than nice and they answered all of our questions. The grandkids loved the flowers. My 2 year old granddaughter fell in love with all orchids - purple or pink. My 4 year old grandson was really enthralled by the Venus Flytrap.

Yorktown is a 2 storey mall with JCPenney, Von Maur & Carsons and shops like Bath and Bodyworks. Yankee Candle, Forever 21, Marshalls & homegoods, Victoria secrets, Famous Shoes, Aeropostale ...Sephora is inside JCP.
Food court with Panda Express , Sarku Japan, subway , aunty annie, Cinnabon, sbarro, outlets etc.
The mall has been renovated in some areas. it's good for raining days as it's mostly indoor compared to Oakbrook.

Since 2013, we've been proud to celebrate the good times with our selection of beer, whiskey, and delicious bar food.
Fantastic pub, great for sports, great beer list and whiskey list! Very good wait staff, hardworking and attentive. Like the pony's? OTB and monitors of races! Slots here as well. But what will have you coming back is the food! Wow! Good pizza, appetizers, and some of the best wings and chili in the area! Our party raved about the sandwiches as well. Nice outdoor area with a fireplace. Highly recommend!
