Thankfully the tent camping spots and RV spots are separate. I enjoyed my view from a primitive spot along the reservoir. Nice and quiet and such a nice view when I woke up. The park is clean, safe, well planned. The restroom and laundry facilities are well maintained. There is a small beach and a few nice hiking trails. There is also a playground for young children near the RV spots.

This is a very beautiful park with all the flowers and amazing art work and educational art that is there to teach people how some musical sounds are created. The walking path had a lot of planning. This walking path has an incline which gives you a cardio workout, to increase your heart rate while going up the hill and then coming back down the hill on the other side. It also features a walkway in the middle, so if you do not want to do the incline portion at the top of the park you can cross over and only do the lower portion of the park which is more level and less of an incline. I have walked in this park for along time I have enjoyed hearing the children playing at recess at the school across the street. I have enjoyed the morning and evening walks. I am very impressed to see what all had been added to the park and very thankful for the people that had worked so hard to create a unique atmosphere for everyone to enjoy in our community.

In looking for things to do around Ft. Polk my husband found this gem. It is very small but efficient. It told the story of Ft. Polk well. There are tanks outside and good information inside.
