I've been to 2 games this month with my family. We enjoyed great seats, fun times, good ball park food and drinks, easy parking and the entry was about what I would have paid to go see a movie. These players are fun to watch!

Spring is the perfect time for a walking tour of the Trail of Faith. I was visiting family and stumbled upon an 11 acre outdoor museum. It is a replica of the Waldensian's journey through Italy. I experienced a very educated and historical tour given by Mr. Tron, an actual descendant of the local community. I enjoyed shopping in the gift shop which had very different and original crafts from local artists. I would recommended this attraction for all ages.

Jim, our host for the afternoon was funny and very informative about the wine selection. The tasting room was in the basement of the business and the set up was great....our first time at a sit-down tasting. Six Waterpots has a wide variety to sample. We really enjoyed the fruit wines and the muscadines.

This is a nice place to visit. The items made here are good for tasting and I am sure they would have something you would like. The staff makes you feel at home.

My girlfriend and I had been looking online for waterfalls to visit nearby. I'm in Mooresville and she is in Concord North Carolina. McGalliard was about an hour away from her so it wasn't an ordeal to get there. Packed up the camera, some comfortable hiking shoes and a spare in case they got wet, and a sweatshirt since it was only in the low 60's and off we went. Only ones there when we arrived and the falls were a very short walk from the parking lot. A very peaceful serene setting. We just sat for awhile and took it all in. Took some photos and had a relaxing afternoon. Close by and free, cannot argue with that. Not much in the way of hiking. Strictly a park and view experience.

This thriving family business is nestled in the picturesque foothills of the South Mountains and features activities for all ages: you can enjoy a wagon ride through the orchard, pick your own apples, taste homemade goods from our bakery, or browse through the Country Store.
We stopped and bought some yummy apples and the apple slushie and the apple cider doughnuts were so good!!

Old Colony Players is a not for profit (501C3) performing arts company. Our mainstay has been the production of the outdoor drama, "From This Day Forward", during the summer months. We also produce various drama, comedy, and musical events throughout the year at The Old Rock School. Come out and see one of our shows. Just keep track of us at our website or on Facebook.
Throughout the year, Old Colony Players produces some wonderful plays at the Old Rock School Auditorium. Usually there are 5 productions per year. Comedy, drama, musical and a dinner theater are performed here. The mainstay outdoor drama, "From This Day Forward" is performed each summer from July through mid-August. Great shows for a small town. Very much worth the visit.

Fantastic playground with the wooki type playground with lots of bridges, climbing walls, rope walks and slides. I take my grandson several afternoons a week after school. Great place to let him get all that energy out. There is also hugh picnic shelters, a biking trail along the Greenway, volleyball courts and lots of open space.

Place looked interesting from the outside but inside was very dated, run down. Smelled musty like an old basement. Wines were your typical way to sweet southern variety even those they called "Dry Reds" were sickeningly sweet. Don't waste your time unless you REALLY like sweet wine.

Located on the ground floor of the Old Rock School. Lantern and signal light displays. Many photographs on the walls. The best display is the two room model railroad. (Over 800 square feet) Wow! The Piedmont and Western Railroad Club (www.pwrr.org) has volunteers that can answer many questions.
