I cant even describe the beauty of this building. It really is beautiful and also very well maintain, parking could be a little better but overall the employees are always friendly and happy to help. This is a jewel for the Utica people. There really isnt a bad place to sit. Looking forward to more shows at the Stanely Center of Arts.

One of the most beautiful churches I have seen in Upstate NY. It is truly a work of art. Beautiful stained class, artwork, woodwork, such a beautiful historic building.

We just happened on this neighborhood and had a couple of hours so took the Brewery Tour. It was $5 per person, which included and very informative tour of this fourth generation family brewery and a full sized beer at the 19th century bar. I have been on many brewery tours, and this was a very good one right up there at the top. And the Saranac craft beer was great. You can buy beer that they do not sell elsewhere at the end.

I decided to do a day trip to this Museum from my home in Saratoga Springs a few days after it reopened. Sadly, I think the place had more staff there than visitors. This is a museum that is well worth visiting and a visit can be done in 2 hours or less. There are actually two buildings that are attached. The older building was the residence of the Museum donors and it contains their antique furnishing as well as a restaurant for patrons. The newer building has most of the art work and it houses a very well chosen pieces of art dating principally from the last 150 years. While it tends to have one or two paintings by such greats as Picasso and Jackson Pollock (to name only some of the great artists represented there), what is on display is well worth seeing. There is no admission charge and there is also a very nice gift shop with items from local craftspeople among other things.

The Utica Memorial Auditorium has unique construction in that it has no obstructive beams. No matter where your seat is, you will have a great view. It is home to the American Hockey League's Utica Comets and recently added the Utica Football Club for the Indoor Soccer League. It is also the home of Utica College Hockey as well as many youth hockey teams.

Woodland Farm Brewery is a locally owned and operated farm brewery. Every batch of beer uses NYS grains, hops, and other ingredients. Woodland has a focus on creating new and unique beer, barrel aging, casks, and a down to earth atmosphere. With a rotation of food trucks and a family friendly environment, Woodland is a place for anyone to visit. The brewery also supports local musicians and has live music every Sunday and Tuesday! Check out our website for a calendar of events!
Do you like barrel aged beer? Strong beer like barleywine? Cask poured beer? If yes, and if you’re in the neighborhood, check this place out. The beers are right in my wheelhouse and I really enjoyed all three I tried, most especially the barleywine, barrel aged for two years. The food we had was also very good. I would caution that when they have live music, it’s pretty loud inside. They had a guy playing guitar and singing, and he was doing a fine job, but we wanted some conversation and ended up sitting outside, which wouldn’t have worked if the weather was bad. But don’t let that scare you. The beer is great!

Beautiful building with plenty of benches, clean restrooms, and little shops. Very easy to find and parking was easy.
