A half-mile boardwalk along a man-made canal with striking views.
Unfortunately due to too much rain this winter and Hurricane Irma, there's very little wildlife to see in the Everglades. Anhinga is normally a reliable place to see alligators and birds. Not this year. We saw just a few birds and gators here. We did much better in Big Cyprus Preserve. IF YOU"RE A SERIOUS NATURE PHOTGRAPHER, go someplace else. You'll find very little wildlife here. If time is short and you've been here before, I would reprioritize your trip. If you've never been here before and you have plenty of time, I might stop to see the limited amount of wildlife that's around. I GUARANTEE YOU WILL SEE A GATOR HERE!!!!

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is among the world's best tropical botanic gardens. Here you will find internationally renowned collections of cycads, flowering trees, tropical fruits, vines, aroids and endangered species, which provide a living laboratory for scientists, and the opportunity of discovery for everyone. In addition, Fairchild has the largest palm collection in the U.S. and is also the keeper of the National Palm Collection as designated by the American Public Gardens Associations. With its beautiful paths, vistas and outstanding horticultural displays, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden provides every visitor with an unforgettable experience.
All though this is more a garden than a genuine botanical garden (most of the trees and plants did have labels so referring to botanical garden makes sense) the place is really nice and beautiful, quite large also. It has several large ponds and different sections (mangrove, madagaskar, tropical etc) and nice, easy walk around them. We also saw several huge iguanas wondering around, which is quite exotic for us coming from Northern Europe.
They offer guided tours as well, even in a small tram (I believe its called) which is very useful and nice for elderly people. We walked around the whole garden with a good map and instructions given at the entrance.
Garden has also small greenhouses and a butterfly house with hundreds of different kinds of butterflies flying around you. Very beautiful!

Large waterfront shopping, entertainment and dining area.
Lively open air marketplace with lots of bars and restaurants. There's shopping as well. But from what I saw it does not appear as though people go there for the shopping. Loved the live Latin music and the food. Ate at Latin American Cuban Cuisine and it was wonderful. My husband got a Cuban sandwich and I got grilled fish with moros and cassava (both sides are a must!). We then took an evening Millionaire's Row sightseeing cruise. The homes and yachts were ridiculously beautiful. We only had one evening to spend in Miami before leaving for our cruise the next morning and I'm very happy with our choice. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was due to our experience with taxis. Beware of being overcharged because you are a tourist! Negotiate a fare upfront.

Located near the Everglades, this park provides elevation and scenic beauty - perfect for bikers.
Here for the first time after moving to Weston for some shooting / target practice. I hear and read bad reviews from this outdoor range. Found it not to be real. The range is very well organize and safety is first and foremost as there is a mix ox experience shooters and beginners and families. Not expensive at all and the only outdoor 100 yards range near by. Liked it and will be back.
As for the park itself, I’ll need to come back with the family and enjoy the other activities offered.

People watching is a great pastime in Miami's South Beach, which draws celebrities and beautiful people in skimpy swim attire to see and be seen. The wide and fine, white sand-covered beaches are popular spots for fashion photo shoots, so you're sure to see models. The area is known for its hip clubs and wild nightlife as well as numerous excellent restaurants.
Nice boulevard on Lincoln drive, however missing some really cosey places on the beach. Too much of the same. Looking and to be seen!

Nestled between the Intercoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean, this scenic park boasts white sandy beaches, open ocean surf and sweeping dunes.
Parking was $7. This was my first time at a nude beach and even though I knew what to expect, it was still shocking to see a LOT of naked people. The beach is gorgeous. There is a bathroom/rinse off place right before you get to the beach. I didn't see anyone selling anything so it's best to be prepared and bring your food/drink.

When you come down from the frozen north east to this beach, you just melt at the site of the blue water and white sand! Sure there's better beaches, so they say..... this beach is wide with plenty of room, the drop off edge is where I like to be. Love to hear the waves crashing. I'll be back for sure!!!!!

He was an awesome teacher and very patient. We did both Fly and Spin. Scott also knows a lot about fishing in Alaska and S. America.
He plans special trip to these locations. Most importantly he is friendly, a good listener, on time and you will have a ton of fun!
This was our first trip with Capt. Scott Rose. I’m sure we will be fishing with him again.
