The only horse riding in the Great Lakes region that includes riding on the beach! Enjoy riding along the picturesque 9 Mile Beach at Tuncurry and in the Forster Hinterlands tranquil bush setting.
The guides and other staff were all lovely and the horses are obviously loved and well looked after. We really enjoyed our ride and look forward to returning next time we are on holiday nearby

When we have visitors this museum is a wonderful place to take them so that they can see our rich history. The display seems to improve each time we visit and we heard while we were there that they have gained the block of land next door and so the museum can grow. The displays are wonderful, with lots of photographs and information and displays on the original inhabitants, the oyster industry, ship building, timber. It has the first Tuncurry school which became Minimbah's before coming to the museum. The museum illustrates early life in the area in fashion, housing, and industry. At $5 an adult for entry it is well worth a visit.

The Tuncurry rock pool has everything. A beautiful protected beach, with crystal clear flat water, golden sand and and enclosed swimming area. Adjacent to the pool is a wonderful break wall walk and to top it off there is a great little cafe which serves fabbo coffee. Every day the view is different depending upon the weather and the area is just perfect for young families, seniors and couples
