Whether rocking out to music legends inside the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame or viewing Monets and Picassos at the Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland is a city that mixes equal parts grit and sophistication. Nosh award-winning food in historic buildings, tip back some craft beers amid a Lake Erie beach party or cheer on a championship team with a hardball of locally distilled spirits. All in Cleveland.

A Christmas Story House, now restored to its movie splendor, is open year round to the public for tours. Directly across the street from the house is the official A Christmas Story House Museum, which features original props, costumes and memorabilia from the film, as well as hundreds of rare behind-the-scenes photos. Among the props and costumes are the toys from the Higbee's window, Randy's snowsuit, the chalkboard from Miss Shields' classroom and the family car. After reliving A Christmas Story at Ralphie's house don't forget to visit the museum gift shop for your own Major Award Leg Lamp and other great movie memorabilia.
Childhood memories come to life! Such a great movie, neat to get to visit the house and museum in person and take pics with the BB gun, lamp, bar of soap, etc. the gift shop is amazing great place to pick up some souvenirs. If you haven’t seen the movie I don’t know that you will truly appreciate this stop. My only suggestion would be to have the tour guides just stationed in the house and museum to talk and answer questions but allow people to come and go on their own schedule, that way your not having to share the experience with 25 people at a time, or maybe just go early if possible. Glad we stopped and really enjoyed watching the movie again before this stop.
