We enjoyed the atmosphere and the tour guides at each location were very informed. Tommy Cook took his time to answer all our questions about the grist mill and told us a few tall tales that were very interesting. The blacksmith apprentice was passionate about his job and seemed eager to learn. The guide in the Tift House was very informed and seemed to really enjoy her job. Even the woman that served us lunch was very helpful and the food was delicious. The grounds were clean and everything seemed to be in working order.

Stopped in hoping to buy some fresh Peaches but they are not in season. We were able to buy pecans.
Welcomed stretching our legs and using the restrooms.
Fairly clean considering the huge amounts of people coming thru.
Bought some bottles of water and pecan logs. Peanut brittle and Pecans.
Recommend stopping lots to look at.
They have a lot of things for sale.

As always, when on the road and anywhere near Adcock's we stopped in. This trip we purchased peanuts, pecans, and jams and jellies to take to our daughter in Wisconsin. She was thrlled with the pecans and immediately baked us a wonderful pecan pie. Everyone said they had never tasted such fresh and delicious nuts. The peanuts were a big hit during "football Sunday."
My daughter who was born and raised in Florida, really appreciates the wonderful Southern things she can't get up North. We did enjoy those wonderful Wisconsin cheese curds though.
Try Adcock's one time, and like us, you'll go back again and again.

I'm the coach of a t-ball team. After winning our game I brought the whole team out to BAM to congratulate them. The whole team loved this place. So do drop in and jump around. Meet the wonderful staff and relax while the kids have fun.

The Georgia Agricultural Commodity Commission for Peanuts was established in 1961 under the Commodities Promotion Act. The Commission conducts programs in the areas of promotion, research and education. Funding is derived from a $2 per ton assessment on all producers. Governing the Commission is a five man elected board of peanut farmers. It is best known in the State House by its little red bags of Georgia Peanuts. Peanuts are a $2.0 billion industry in Georgia
Hubby and I were expecting a bit more from the Georgia peanut commission, not only was it a bit of a disappointment, the video they showed us was not in closed captions for the deaf.. So basically hubby GOT IT I had to imagine what they were saying, I am sure it was OK for others but just not for us

I'm so thankful for such a great little place to be here in Tifton. I've sampled many of his products and haven't been disappointed in any of them. The pepper jellies are amazing for grilling meat and sandwiches, but the possibilities of the uses are limitless. The sauces and rubs are out of this world. The soy sauce is one of my faves!!! Eric is super helpful with recipe ideas as well as gift baskets. Don't miss out on the blueberry and cranberry jellies. Perfect combo of sweet with a little kick. Those are my top two favorites.

I've seen all the "Magnolia Pecan Farms" stops along my drive from Florida to Tifton and back but my sister just introduced me to a super great place that is worth an extra 5 minutes to get to and is an "easy on" and "easy off" I-75. The Market at Rutland Farms is a great place to stop. There is an ice cream/soda fountain inside for the kids, plenty of produce to take home. They have a working bee hive behind glass that is something to see and show the little ones. If you are traveling with kids; you must stop here. There is a great play ground in the back and a beautiful pavilion to sit under and enjoy a lunch. It overlooks a beautiful lake. For all the years we've taken the I-75 route I never knew this place existed. It was so much fun to wonder through and I must say....the BEST in pecans you will find. A family came in while we were there with children and a stop for ice cream was in their plans. I loved this place. I've place an order for the shelled peas that they will have later in June; when my sister comes down I'll be requesting she bring them to me LOL. Any other trips we make and when we need a break to stretch or just enjoy a packed sandwich, instead of chowing it down on the road we'll stop here again!!

Great resource for information. They have copy machines available for public use. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Forest Lakes Golf Club, located at 80 Moorman Drive in Tifton, GA, is owned and operated by Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. The 9-hole course is open from 8 a.m. until sunset seven days a week. The par 72 course plays 6,970 yards from the gold tees over 18 holes. Forest Lakes features Tifdwarf bermudagrass greens and Tifway bermudagrass fairways.
9 holes. The condition was above average, because they use the course to train the kids from ABAC on how to take care of the turf.
The layout was fun.
Only played it once. I wonder if course pace could get real slow with new groups going off #1 and existing groups squeezing in on #1 after they already played 9.
*Friendly staff.
