Plan to cross many bridges when in Cork. Ireland's third-largest city began life as an island and now spans both banks of the River Lee, with watery channels running beneath some of its main thoroughfares. The best way to experience this hilly southern seaport is on foot, following the signposted walking tour past St. Finn Barre's Cathedral and the riverside quadrangle of University College up the hill to red and white Shandon Church. Along the way, you'll meet plenty of the city's talkative residents.

An intimate tour of the Franciscan Well Brewpub, beginning with the rich history of the site, dating back to the 13th century! Next we will see the on-site brewery and discuss how the beer is made, followed by a tasting of our popular Chieftain IPA and Shandon Stout alongside the new Jameson Caskmates IPA and Caskmates Stout.
This was our first evening in Cork. We met up with our son who was studying at the University of Cork for the semester (we live in Oregon, USA) The warm atmosphere and good food and beers were a perfect start to our trip.

Built to serve an empire and constructed during a time of rebellion, maritime trade and mass emigration, Old Cork Waterworks stands proud on the Cork hillside overlooking the River Lee commanding the western approaches to Cork City. Our renovated Victorian buildings offer a Visitor Experience, Primary Science education space, Corporate Hire and Conference facilities.

Me and my partner went to The Spa this week with a need to relax as we've both been stressed from work. We opted for the Harmony Package that includes a 50 minute treatment with Afternoon Tea. Arianna took our booking and she made everything very easy and stress free. We had our Afternoon Tea first which was lovely lots of sweet treats which are my favourite and of course yummy warm scones. We then went to The Spa and relaxed on the heated loungers while waiting to be collected by the therapists. My therapist was Sandrine and I can only say she is amazing, made me feel very comfortable, relaxed and her massage is out of this world. Katelyn had my partner and he had a lovely time too. All in all we had a wonderful time and will deffinetly be back in future.
