Awesome, awesome place. First time visiting this farm. W had such a good time. We took the wagon ride. The animals were great. The driver stops periodically and the animals come running. My hands were so slimey from their slobber. They give you a bucket of feed when you load the wagon, for no additional cost. Afterwards we roamed around the farm checking out all the barns and the house. The ladies in the house offered us cookies, for no additional cost. If you catch it right you can witness milking. Great place to spend an afternoon.

This is always the the most enjoyable family entertainment ANYWHERE! Amish Country Theater is my 90 year old mother's very favorite place to visit, and the Christmas in the Country Show was the best! I really enjoyed it, but hearing my mother's laughter, is just the best thing to me. Thank you all for that. The gift of laughter is the very best gift of all, and the Amish Country Theater never disappoints in providing us this gift. Thank you all & Merry Christmas!

We visited the cyclorama painting as well as one-room school and barn. The person who described the detailed painting was informative, however, I found the presentation to be quite hurried with little time for questions. The barn and school tours were also hurried, little time for questions and few details of current or former Amish school & farm life discussed. The musty odor in the school room was very strong. Maybe " air out a bit on warm, sunny days?"

The wine tasting consisted of tasting 9 different wines, at 50 cents each. The man serving the wine seemed to know what he was talking about and enjoyed being there. The cheese, meat and bread board was very good. Fun atmosphere.

The Warther Museum is home of the world famous woodcarvings of steam engines by Ernest Mooney Warther carved out of ivory, ebony, and walnut. Mrs. Warther's button collection numbers over 73,000 buttons in patterns, and her Swiss style gardens still bloom seasonally to this day. The Warther Museum is more than you can imagine as you see what two people created in just one lifetime.
We aren't into trains, so we couldn't appreciate as deeply as some other folks, but if you can step back, after viewing all the carvings, and look at the exhibit as a whole, you quickly realize this is a spectacular display of genius. Several of the people on our tour said they visited more than once, or plan to come back again. Although this is not the case for us, this shows that human artistry can still outdo machines. As for the site itself, it's easy to find and there's plenty of parking. We found it a little expensive, but we certainly understand why. Using AAA helped, I think we got either 50 cents or $1 off admission.

We decided to include a stop here when visiting Amish Country this year. So, it’s not a True Amish experience, and a bit pricey, but the acting company was professional and very solid. The vocals were outstanding. The theater is new and very clean and...MoreThank you for taking the time to review Ohio Star Theater. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience, and hope you will join us again for another performance.

Baked goods, meat, cheese, spices, candy and awesome ice cream! We always love coming to Walnut Creek as we make our way through Amish Country. My only piece of advice, get here before the tour busses.

We paid $16.50 for the two of us and had a tour in the barn and house.
They have other options of tours too including an Amish school tour and a carriage ride.
The tour was informative but didn't feel like the lady that done it was enjoying her job at all.
She also didn't seem to like it when her script was interrupted by any questions.
Make sure you visit the bakery at the end! Delicious homemade cookies for $0.50 each.

The workmanship and attention to detail of these models is fantastic. To be honest I am not a "Ship" fan but I could really appreciate the talent of Dave Warther. I did notice on another recent review the gentleman claimed that Dave's grandfather never used ivory in his train models. Well, I guess he never stopped by the museum in Dover as those models are done in ebony and ivory. Seriously if you enjoy find modeling and happen to be in the area by all means stop in. You won't regret it!
