Fantastic dramatic gardens, loads of grasses and wild flowers - even the fairy sculptures move with the wind (the sculptures are really cleverly created in wire and have dandelion seeds floating from flower, really brilliant). My girls 9-14 loved finding the 20 odd sculptures in creative places around the park. Good outdoor play area and the bare foot walk is really good and nicely muddy (there are shower heads to clean it all off). There was ice-cream in the shop but i waited till i got outside for a Cadwalders (as i used to make that ice-cream). The caramac and the salted caramel were both delicious and creamy.

Westport lake is a lovely place to go for a stroll when you need a break from work and stress! Good paths for walking, running and cycling. Wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Small pool and larger lake, plenty of wildlife to see. There’s also a wooded section with breeding pool, this is harder to access for some. Great cafe on site with a balcony overlooking the water. If you’re lucky you can catch the oatcake boat on the canal!

The exterior of the Station is very good looking - olde but well presented. The inside is modern and clean with good amenities. Has a café and pub and the toilets were spotless - what more could you ask for? Oh yes, the train was on time as well and the staff were pleasant.

The UK’s No.1 Tropical Aqua Park is based in the Heart of the Midlands. Waterworld is an epic adventure for the whole family to enjoy. A great day out in Staffordshire. Prepare yourself for our breath taking white knuckle rides. Experience 375 feet of ups and downs in a single raft. Race family and friends with exciting twists and turns. Descent into our plunge pools or just relax in our Bubble Pools. Jump and ride the waves in our beach effect wave pool or dare you brave the dark cave of our rapids ride with family and friends. In late 2019, we wanted our loyal guests to be the first to know our gigantic new wave system had been installed. This complements our four brand new super thrill rides in Tornado Alley, featuring Thunderbolt, Cyclone, Hurricane and Stormchaser. The tallest, fastest water slides in the UK… Ride them if you dare! We have a large restaurant, which offers a full range of freshly prepared meals, including halal, gluten-free, and nut free choices.
I visited with my children and grandchildren on Saturday and had a wonderful time. I was a spectator and was able to sit in the cafe area to have a cup of tea whilst the younger ones had fun! The park is suitable for all ages, with some enjoying the new big slides whilst the younger members of our party enjoyed the smaller jungle part. They had lots of fun and were exhausted by the end of the day. We will be back soon.
