Unique experience, would be better for scuba divers but still neat to see. Lots of interesting sculptures. Tour was with Dive Grenada who picked us up at resort, provided good snorkeling equipment, comfortable boat ride out, and guidance around sculptures.

House of Chocolate is a very unique and beautiful hand crafted mini-museum-boutique, chocolateria-cafe portraying the history of chocolate in the world and Grenada. Specialize on local organic chocolate.
Although smaller than we had expected, this cafe/shop/chocolate story venue is a really nice place to escape to,away from crowds/heat/chaos on a busy Saturday. There was free WiFi,a toilet and a variety of souvenirs on sale. The cafe served a variety of tempting treats and the chocolate brownie was to die for !

Magazine Beach is a perfect option for anyone wanting to escape Grand Anse on a busy day (not that it ever gets that busy). Magazine Beach seems to have everything: gorgeous looks, essential services, decent snorkelling, an excellent restaurant, peace and quiet… The location is close to the airport, a short taxi ride from Grand Anse. No public transportation to the beach which probably keeps it quiet. The sand is soft and the water is a lovely shade of turquoise. It’s one of my favourite beaches in Grenada. A 30-foot waterfall in a grotto of lush vegetation with a pool beneath the falls that's deep enough for a swim.
Great place to stop for a break lots of ladies carrying fruit on heads for photos bit aggressive if you don’t tip them Steepish walk to fall but not bad Amazing men jumping off rock into pool and serenaded by guitarist up and down path Excellent

Busy harbor in St. George.
It's a harbour in the middle of town and very pretty and photo-worthy, but it is also a main thoroughfare. So while looking out onto the sea and admiring the boats and yachts is brilliant the road can get busy. Shops, bars and restaurants are easy to find and its definitely worth stopping to chill and enjoy the view. We had a roti and rum punch at The Nutmeg restaurant - an old favourite - before going out on a catamaran.

Protects the harbor's eastern entrance and has panoramic views of Grenada's southwestern coastline.
Great trip to Fort Frederick - easy to get to in a hire car and small entrance fee ECD 5.25. Stunning views of St George's, Grand Anse and the interior towards Grand Etang an My Qua Qua. Well maintained and full of history. A must for pictures alone!

You can buy several spices, including nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon and cloves, at Dougaldston, one of the island's oldest and largest nutmeg plantations.
We really enjoyed Dougaldston Estate with Sheldon our tour guide. It was not tourist orientated in any way. The girls were excellent showing us all the spices and were honest to say what countries allowed spices to be brought in. Even a young child in our group enjoyed the tour.

This is a must see! Guide will take you around garden and explain what they do there and all the different varieties of trees, plants, herbs, etc. It is really interesting. They have a little gift shop where you can purchase many spices.

Hilltop with fine views from the harbor's western promontory across the town's red-tiled roofs and church spires and over the Carenage.
This is the last Fort we visited of the 3 (,fort Frederick and Fort Matthew) there is a lot of beautiful views over town and from there you can see Sails restaurant worth a visit even on a rainy day!

The gathering place for buying and selling produce and spices.
Always a great place to visit! We enjoy at least one stop at the Spice Market in St.George when we are in Grenada. Lots of local fruits, vegetables and spice - plus anything else you could want from clothing to snacks. We purchased fresh Ground Nut Sugar Cake, spices, smoothies, fresh fruit and coconut water. Part of the fun is chatting with vendors - ask questions and just say ‘no thank’ you if you don’t wish to purchase something or already have.
