The annual Vespers service at Abbey Chapel is an extraordinary event. The Mount Holyoke College Choirs are talented singers and the accompaniments are equally talented, including organ, piano, flutes, cello, electric guitar, drums and others. They presented a wide variety of Christmas and holiday music, with numerous opportunities for the audience to sing well known Christmas carols with the choirs. Kudos to Mount Holyoke College and its faculty, staff and students for presenting this exceptional Christmas gift free to the public.

Nice collection of animals for the kids: water birds, chickens, a peacock, a pig, goats, donkeys and alpacas. You can buy feed for the animals inside the store. Miniature golf available - ask inside the store. Store sells baked goods, some dairy products, and ice cream treats. Nice menu at the sit-down restaurant inside the store. We had the daily special soup and burgers and sandwiches. The burgers come with chips. Seems to be popular with locals. Clientele is family with small children. Restrooms. So you bring the kids, interact with the animals, and enjoy a treat at the store. Lots of photo opportunities.

I have been going to The Odyssey Bookshop for years. In addition to the great selection of books, the Odyssey also has many book, reading, and art-related items for personal use or for gifts for others. And the staff is very helpful.
