Skokie (/ˈskoʊki/; formerly Niles Center) is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. Its name comes from a Potawatomi word for "marsh." A Chicago suburb, for many years Skokie promoted itself as "The World's Largest Village." Its population, according to the 2010 census, was 64,784. Skokie's streets, like that of many suburbs, are largely a continuation of the Chicago street grid, and the village is served by the Chicago Transit Authority, further cementing its connection to the city.

Designed by renowned architect Stanley Tigerman, the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center is one of Chicagoland's premier attractions. The Museum uses lessons from the Holocaust to focus attention on contemporary issues of genocide, intolerance, and inhumanity at home and worldwide.
Other than DC, this is the most powerful and comprehensive museum I have seen on the Holocaust outside of visiting the camps themselves. An easy 20-minute drive from Chicago, this should not be near the top of any itinerary, this should be the top site. Excellent job to the curator and staff - very moving.

I visited with a friend while going to the Mall for lunch, we are both tea enthusiasts and I unfortunately live in Puerto Rico and don't have stores like these home. The store is bright, excellently stocked and organized. We were warmly greeted by Laura and Peggy. They alternatively explained the layout or would join us at the display highlighting different teas. Found the prices to be quite reasonable. Would definitely return.

great service, products, and prices My favourite feature is the large baking supplies section. You can purchase the exact amount you need of ingredients and decorations -- simple and fancy sprinkles, nonpareils, sanding sugar, chocolate chips, lentls, nuts, dried fruits, etc. Perfect for the kosher home baker and candy maker. free parking in their lot

Immerse yourself in victory. Feel the quake of nearby explosions. Move quickly to evade the enemy and lead your team to glory. MassVR's VR Champions is the experience you have been waiting for. VR Champions lets up to 8 players play at once, engaging in team-versus-team battle. Collaborate - meet up in real life and enter a physical virtual reality experience.
My friends and I have visited MassVR several times. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and was willing to answer all our questions when we were new. The game itself (VR Champions) is an exceptionally developed multiplayer game. With 3 maps currently available (I have heard more things are in the final stages of development), each experience is fresh and exciting. There are walk-in discounts for students, and regularly occurring "Bootcamp" nights on Wednesdays, where you get trained by experienced players at a huge discount (3 for 1 deal). Considering the reasonable price, it's a great way to spend an evening with friends and/or family. P.S. While the game is quite active (be prepared to sweat), the environment is safe and comfortable. It really is fun for any age group.

Often the ticket holders are not allowed into their seats until 15-20 mins before showtime, but there is a small lobby offering drinks and snacks early. not a lot of seating, so if you want to relax with refreshment, get there early to have a table and chairs. The theatre seating itself is great. The boxes are fun to enjoy also. The location of this theatre is 100% better than going into the Loop.
