Simple .. A good place to visit. A normal backwater created by the Madhubani Dam on Damanganga / Wagh River. The place offers a good boating facility. The scene is quite good.

We came to know about this place from our hotel in Daman, if you are in Daman and your kids have never been to a Safari then its worth a visit, however if you are in Silvassa then this place is very close and you must visit, as its a good one time experience in a open jeep, the ride lasts for around 15 minutes and the charges are pretty affordable, remember that only debit and credit cards are used for entry fee. Lots of Deers and Sambars around, you can see one as close as 7 to 8 feet distance.

Garden is very beautiful. It has round shape. In outer there is garden then there is round pond in the garden and again there is beautiful garden in pond. They connect garden to garden (between pond) with small bridge. Very good place. In pond there is so much ducks and fish. You will love to see ducks in the pond. Beautifully constructed. This places is on highway and around 7 km far away from city. There is also enough parking space and they dont charge for parking. Overall worth visit.

Had been here some 15 years back, so wasn't really expecting much, but thankfully it was in a better shape than before. Well maintained, greenery all around and well designed.
What it does not offer is the huge spaces of other parks in other cities or hill stations. But it has a lake good enough for pedal boating. Probably to be avoided during crowded weekends. Entry fees was only 20 rs per head so worth it. for sure. Children will love the scores of ducks and geese around.

Located in Vanganga complex, Island Garden retains its name from vanganga lake itself. Localities also call it Dadra Park. It has well maintained , beautiful garden where one can have a picturistic view of greenery in nature at its full glory. There are several jogging trails which are famous with the fitness lovers . The place can act as stress reliever as well.

The Tribal Museum is Govt owned and is located at the main Traffic Lights 4 way junction in Silvassa which is a busy place & hence you can’t miss it. There is a ground with ample parking available just adjacent to the Tribal Museum which is good, otherwise Parking would have been a major challenge at this busy junction. You enter the Museum from the parking lot itself, but you have to remove your footwear before entering. It is a small Museum displaying various Tribal arts, implements and their lifestyle as well, so it is interesting to visit. There is no entrance fee payable & a visitor’s book is maintained for you to provide your comments & feedback. An interesting place to visit to give you some idea of the rural tribal life. Certainly worth a visit, if you have not been here before.

The place has calm and serene environment , one can also enjoy boating via paddle boats in the lake. There are entry charges of Rs 20 for adults and Rs 10 for kids. One can easily visit the lake via auto rikshaw from Silvasa city itself.

This Church seemed previously interesting to visit as its built in portuguese times, but while we entered its just like any other churches,a normal church withought any specific carvings,or designs....hence there is nothing special about this church, people who are looking forward to heritage, architecture etc will be disappointed.
