Our Mission at Gallery 29 is to be an art gallery, boutique, and design studio selling the works of our talented artists. We strive to promote all art forms and give the artists a format to produce, display, and sell their works, thus, enhancing the economic development of this creative community. We offer a wide variety of classes and workshops to educate the public in the arts and allow them to see and experience the creative process that is involved. By doing so we hope to provide a greater appreciation of all the arts and the beauty it provides to our environments.

The future hubby and I were out viewing venues for our wedding and had been walking the beautiful grounds of Buhl mansion when I saw the Daffins chocolates building about half a block away peeking over the hedges. We wandered over and found "The chocolate kingdom" and met a wonderful woman named Connie. She offered us a piece of chocolate and then told us stories of the Daffin family while showing us around the store. The chocolate was SO good that we promptly bought several boxes of meltaways and gifts to take back and share with our families. What a cool memory that we will cherish while looking back on these days in the future. Thank you Daffin's, and especially Connie! We can't wait to go back, and have already started thinking of ways to incorporate Daffin's chocolate gifts into the wedding. ❤

We stayed at Buhl Mansion for two nights to celebrate my 50th Birthday and had such a wonderful and relaxing trip! The staff at this B&B are top notch! They were always very nice, friendly and accommodating. We stayed during the beginning of the week (during off season) and were only 1 of 2 couples that stayed there so it was very quiet which was perfect for us. Since none of the other rooms (except one) were taken, we were able to check out the other rooms which was nice. I was already picking out which room I wanted to stay in for our next trip! Room: We stayed in the Artist Loft room and loved everything about it! The room size was perfect, not too big and not too small. Very clean! There was champagne on ice and a tray of snacks to great us in our room which was very nice. The room also included very nice robes and slippers and also night lights which is a very nice touch. I always bring one on our travels so it was nice to have those already. There was always a tray left for us at the turn down service that had chocolates, a postcard, flowers, a weather forecast for the next day and also our menu choices for breakfast the next day. Breakfast: Delicious!!! We had breakfast in bed one day and breakfast in their sun room the next day. It was extra to have breakfast in bed but it was totally worth it. Afternoon Tea: They have a tea service every afternoon at 4:00 in the Parlor. Since we checked in at 3:00 we were able to check it out. They had a spread of some mini sandwiches and treats, plus different types of tea of course. We ended up sitting in the Library enjoying our tea service as we looked over books about the history of the Buhl family and mansion. We missed it our second day since we were taking naps after our spa treatments. Spa: We spent most of the day using the spa facilities on the property. We really enjoyed every treatment we got. The staff there is also very friendly and great at their jobs. We got a very nice lunch in the sun room as part of our spa package and that was delicious too. Were opted to save our cheesecake dessert and had them bring it up to our rooms during the turn down service so we had dessert when we got back from dinner. We ate one night at Donna's Diner which is right down the street. We loved it! The shakes were delicious and so was the food and atmosphere. We also ate at Tara at the Stonewall Tavern. It was pretty good too. This was our first stay at Buhl Mansion but it will not be our last!
