The Singapore cityscape looks like it was ripped from the pages of a science fiction comic book. If you’re hungry for a true Singapore experience, sample the myriad street foods or take a cultural cooking class. The Botanic Gardens and the Gardens By the Bay offer a slice of horticultural heaven, and the observation deck of the Sands SkyPark makes you feel like you’re high above the clouds. The banks and walkways along the Singapore River bustle with local activity.

I went to the Singapore last Kampong with a local tour. Hence the experience is quite fruitful as there are a lot of explanations about the background and history of the Kampong. It was interesting to let the kids have a look at a different Singapore. There were also a lot of information about the houses, living condition over the years as well as knowledge of the plants etc. Very informative and worth the time there. The kids also enjoyed themselves playing 5 stones and zero point. Recommended for family with kids. Plus will be more fruitful to go with a tour rather than walking there yourself. It was quite a small kampong with a few houses.

Its a very nice farm. Although it has not much animals, the experience of feeding the animals was great. It is definitely better than the zoo and much cheaper. I enjoyed my time there even though it was for a short while.

The temple may seem relatively new, having only established on Ubin in 1986 when a monk from Thailand walked all the way down to Singapore and found its home here on Pulau Ubin. It is now located permanently in Sengkang.
