Selby Abbey has served the local community for over 950 years. Welcoming to all, the Abbey has a rich and diverse heritage waiting to be explored. Hosting regular services, as well as cultural events, concerts, children's activities and tours there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Beautiful place to visit, the stained glass is fantastic. The grounds were more extensive before the reformation but the Minster itself is awe-inspiring. Has a lovely little café inside that serves teas and coffees with homemade cake and has a little gift shop. The washbasins in the facilities have a great view of a stained glass window! Go visit when you are in the Selby area.

A community centre offering an on-site tearoom, classes and events. We have a full 'what's on' calendar on our website for the latest activities including a community cinema showing a variety of films. Located in a former school that originally opened in 1876. Many original features still exist including the school hall which is now available for hire. We're also on Facebook.

Very well worth the visit. The walk takes about an hour and a half. There is parking at the battlefield memorial.

Lovely place to take your dog for a walk, or just yourselves! It’s quite big with various different areas and you can choose how far to go. There is plenty of wildlife to see such as rabbits, deer, squirrels, birds and stoats. There is also a picnic area.

Great facilities - I use the gym, classes and pool regularly since it opened in 2015. Great modern gym with great equipment. Lots of natural light too so. From entering the building to leaving the staff are always there to great you with a smile and assist if needed. The classes are amazing too. I use the pool with my toddler who loves the pool. All in all I glad I live locally to use this amazing centre regularly.
