We spent 90 minutes at the museum providing background about the Treasure Coast and diving for Spanish wrecks circa late 17th and 18th centuries. The history materials and recovered artifacts such as cannon, weaponry, cookware, gold and silver brought the period to life.

We took the River Queen Jungle Cruise (3 hours),(which departs from Mulligans pier in Sebastian), up the Indian River Lagoon and St. Sebastian River this afternoon. My husband and I enjoyed the trip. The Captain shared his knowledge of the area, plants, and wildlife. We saw a few dolphins, alligators, blue heron, osprey and many other local birds. The Captain slowed the boat several times so that all on board could see them and get some photos. All in all a pleasant excursion.

The 34-acre Sanctuary and education center offers visitors a place to explore the dynamic coastal environment. An observation deck, boardwalk and overlook offer magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean. A 1-mile hiking trail winds visitors across the barrier island, from the ocean to the Indian River Lagoon. Inside visitors can explore aquariums and interactive exhibits, view eco-themed movies in the theater, or shop in the Mermaid's Purse gift shop. The Sanctuary is the environmental education center for the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge, one of the most important nesting beaches in the world for sea turtles. Guided sea turtle walks are offered during June and July and a variety of environmental education programs and activities are regularly offered for visitors of all ages. Admission is always free, open Tuesday-Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Any location that has to do with sea turtles gets 5 stars. There is free admission with a donation if you would like. Small display area with interesting facts. Would have been nice if there was a volunteer there to greet you and answer questions. The observation deck is the best part. The views are spectacular. Would stop here again just for the view. Love the baby turtles !

Florida Tech Challenge Course is located on 86 acres in Fellsmere, Florida and is open to the public by reservation only. We offer leadership training and teambuilding events on a variety of venues which include High Ropes, Leadership Reaction, Marine Obstacle, and Air Assault Courses. These are military spec courses which provide an excellent physical and mental challenge for all.
Fantastic course, excellent team training. David And Ashley were very encouraging. My husband and 16, and 17 yr old sons had a blast getting dirty and sweaty and testing their skills and limits. I highly recommend this course challenge. Builds confidence and humbles at the same time.

The park is very treed, and shaded and busy with squirrels, people walking & relaxing.
Events are held here regularly which include art shows, music, clam fest, Christmas with Santa and Mrs Claus (in season of course). There's a small playground area, a small splash park, and ample parking. The restrooms are cleaned regularly, and the Indian river stretches out to watch the boats go by. A nice oasis in the quaint town of Sebastian.

Lots of interesting things here, The place was a little cramped, both indoors and outdoors. But some interesting treasures from junk to outdoor sculptures. Prices were OK, but you could haggle. Plenty of parking.

It was $8 to enter the park. The beach, for the most part, was clean (I did carry out some bottle caps I found) & the sand was nice & soft. The water was cold & rough, so we didn't swim, but were told there's a bit of a drop off. There is a protected tide pool area off the inlet that might be a better choice for kids when it's too choppy. We noticed tons of fishermen, mainly on the jetty, but on the beach as well. Also, it seems popular with surfers. There are plenty of spaces to BBQ/picnic, and there's also a concession area, which even serves veggie burgers. We're likely to return.
