We had a great time. Even my teenage son who hates having pictures taken of him was enjoying the experience. They did a great job during the photo shoot. Even after they went above and beyond to help us get a picture. I highly recommend

We were introduced to this place 10 years ago and made a point to come here when we returned to the area. Great food (come hungry-- generous portions), the log building/restaurant & logging equipment/collections are impressive (check out the "ridge pole" at the top of the ceiling as well as the solid-log bar in the basement) and the staff friendly (despite the fact that we showed up right before closing). Husband & son enjoyed the machinery/logging stuff; daughter & I enjoyed the fall decor/fireplaces; we all enjoyed the food. :-)

The fresh and wafting breeze emanating from the mighty and rough Pacific permeated my soul with a bliss and serenity. Contrasting that with the jagged coast and rough terrain made for a glorious reminder that the Oregon coast is God's own country.

Arcadia Beach is Beautiful and Fun Beach to visit anytime of the year! A smallish parking lot, so get there early for the best spots. Right on Highway 101 and a short walk down the steps to the most Gorgeous sandy beach that's got a Terrific Surf very close. Some fun rocks to climb and there used to be a lot of rocks, shells, and agates until a high tide washed a whole lot of sand in and now it's hard to find them. Great picnic area and a Wonderful view!

Seaside Aquarium

The Seaside Aquarium is a small privately owned aquarium. A family of harbor seals awaits you at the front entrance, which you can feed. Food may be purchased after paid admission. Inside we 35 glass front tanks, which feature marine life found along the Oregon Coast. For the more adventurous, we have two touch tanks. Gently touch the sticky tentacles of a sea anemone or let a little hermit crab scurry around on your hand.
