Described as "the most beautiful track in America", Arlington began Thoroughbred racing on October 13, 1927, when more than 20,000 fans braved the cold weather to celebrate the event in high style. Since then, Arlington International has become a social destination and perfect summer hangout to watch and wager on the amazing sport of Thoroughbred horse racing! Arlington offers beautiful venues for everything from corporate outings to reunions to weddings, and it's the ideal spot for groups of friends to catch-up, watch the ponies and meet new people. From Miller Lite Party in the Park on Friday, to Miller Lite Horses & Hops on Saturdays, to Sunday Family Days presented by Daily Herald and Lipton Iced Tea, it's always a great time!
It seems like there aren’t many tracks left in the country. This is one of the classics. Totally destroyed and rebuilt, and now their racing season is a festive highlight of summer capped off by the Arlington Million. It has excellent banquet facilities, a beautiful clubhouse and great food.

TopGolf takes all your favorite leisure activities – bowling, darts and golf – and fuses them with great food and drinks to form a truly unique game and outdoor entertainment facility. TopGolf requires no golf experience. What makes TopGolf so revolutionary? Each ball contains a microchip that awards points by hitting targets that look like dart boards. The further the target and the closer you get to the center, the more points you are awarded.
I've been coming to top golf since they opened almost ten years ago. Love the concept, and have always had a ton of fun. I'll start with the pros...
Service has always been fantastic here. Deborah, our waitress, admitted she had only been there for three days but she coulda fooled us with her attentiveness and smile. She was great, and when she didn't have an answer to our questions, she promptly found someone that could help us appropriately. She was terrific. The food and drink was great as always. Little pricey but nothing too bad. When we had issues with the game/technology, those who came to help us were nothing but professional and friendly, and eager to help.
That being said, we had several issues with the game and the technology behind it. So the Cons...
This was one of the original six locations built over ten years ago. With many new locations going up worldwide, this one feels like it's been left behind. I haven't seen a single update since the place was built. And with that comes issues with the actual game play. During my first game, I had several shots that clearly went into scoring zones but no score was recorded. (Yes, the balls were all scanned into play properly). We were consistently having to enter our scores manually which is tough as sometimes you can't see exactly which zone the ball went into. When we asked for help with it, we were told it was just the old technology that sometimes doesn't keep up. After that first game, the machines seemed to work okay for a couple games, then went right back to not scoring properly. Then, the display would freeze, preventing us from choosing different games or changing our scores which we unfortunately had to do a lot. Just not the game experience I've come to enjoy from top golf. Again, any time we had an issue, the staff were professional, prompt and super friendly, but they unfortunately couldn't help us out too much with just plain old technology. It was top of the line when it came out, but ten years later it needs some help. After visiting locations like Naperville and Las Vegas, it needs a serious facelift, especially with prices rising regularly.
All in all still a great night out. But if they want to keep up with the premium nightlife game, this location will need to invest in some updates to the technology.

The greater Chicago area has many "Forest Preserves." This one is readily accessible to highways and major roads and on a rainy, dreary, November day was a great spot of fall foliage. The drive through the park passes several parking lots and rest areas. There were picnic tables throughout. What a resource for people nearby. We would come back if in the area again.

I absolutely love this quaint winery and the wine selection, especially the fruit wine. The winery in Roselle is small and quaint and offers wine tasting at a great price. The fruit wines are the best, especially the blueberry and strawberry. As of recently, their wines are sold at a department store in Chicago, and I couldn’t be happier. Great wines, nice history, and great gifts available!

We love the 135 acres of fields, forests, marshes and streams right off Schaumburg, Road in the Village itself. Also the fact that this is the way the area was 100 years ago in this area. There are 3 miles of paths ( all handicapped accessible) and flowers of all kinds. In addition for the children, there is the Bison's Bluff Nature Playground that is always filled with kids having a great time in a nature set up.
There is a Nature Center, a Heritage Farm, and an old Log Cabin to explore and learn what was going on 100 years ago when this was a small German Village. In addition 4 times during the year there are special "Highlights" available. And all year there are things going on at the Nature Center and the Heritage Farm.
Hours vary during the year, but normally 8 to 8 in the Summer Season and 8 to 5 in the Winter Season; and the whole thing is FREE!
We love to come for a walk, and the Grand kids love to walk, see, learn and play at the Playground!! This is an Attraction Not to be Missed!

Visited today with my daughter wife and granddaughters age 5 and 2. Experience was as reported in the reviews: great fun and age appropriate! Cost was $18 for 2 kids with military discount. They loved the merry go round, slide, boats, and train. Workers were so nice and patient with little kids. Plus there were almost no crowds so they let them repeat rides multiple times. Overall a great experience!

Surround yourself with fashion, food, and fun with the most distinctive collection of shopping, dining and entertainment. Woodfield has the finest collection of department stores and specialty shops in the Great Lakes region including Nordstrom, Macy's, Lord & Taylor, jcpenney, Sears and nearly 300 stores and restaurants.
Woodfield Mall is working hard to lure customers away from their internet shopping and back into the mall.
Check out the women's lounge near the Cheesecake Factory. It is done in sophisticated black and white. It has some very nice we-care-about-our-customers touches. There are comfortable couches at the entrance You will find a large shelf against the back wall of every stall, where you can safely place your purse and packages. There are sit-down vanity tables with three-way mirrors.
I found a charging station for my phone and you can borrow a cable from customer service.
There's a bitcoin ATM, free wi-fi, and that giant mall centerpiece -- Garrett's popcorn.
The most exciting news is the food court opening this summer in the upper level Sears wing. The first tenants to be announced are Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Charleys Philly Steaks, Maoz Falafel and Grill, Suki Hana, and Wok A Holic.
There's no Garrett's Popcorn or Maoz falafel at my computer....so Woodfield, here I come.

I would not recommend this course for little ones or anyone that is experiencing a mobility issue. There are many steps after hole 7, narrow bridges, and non level greens.
On the plus side, there are several water hazards, multi level holes, and over and under options.

There is no denying that Coach's Corner is a sports bar decorated in a pub-style with lots of TVs. The pizzas were excellent and were not what we expected. We tried a couple of appetizers, as well, which the kids liked. On days of big sports events, this place might be crazy, but don't be afraid to try this place with the kids for dinner.
