We had the best time here! Made a spontaneous decision to join the class while here on vacation and both my husband and I had an amazing time! They were super nice and helpful and our art came out better than we hoped. Great way...MoreThanks so much for your kind review. So glad to hear you and your date had a good experience getting creative with us. We enjoyed having you join us and happy you were pleased with the results of your efforts.

Hard to find parking, many trucks parked on the beach, several children harassing the sea gulls as their parents watched them swatted at them as the gulls were baited with food . Nice beach not sure it was worth the the drive of almost 3 hours. Pensacola or Orange beach would have been better. Beach is very clean and has life guard. Cowboy diver says this is a coin toss but if you’re going to eat Don’t go to a place called The Bay!

This independent bookstore is such a delight. We look forward to visiting on every trip. When you walk in, the smell of something wonderful greets you. They have a great selection of books and the staff will help you find a particular book or make suggestions. There are also nice gift items such as mugs and totes with clever sayings, t-shirts and hats, and unique greeting cards. No, you are not getting your Barnes & Noble member discount, but you feel satisfied paying full price for books here to support the existence of this exceptional place. A bonus is that the buzzers from Great Southern restaurant work in Sundog Books, so you can peruse as you wait (and you will) for a table.

Formerly the estate of the William Henry Wesley family, this lovely park features the Wesley mansion, manicured lawns and moss-draped gardens.
Sat. Dec 16th from 5:00 to 8:00 the Wesley House was open to the public. The grounds were lit with 2,028 luminaries. The entire house was decorated. While it was crowded the lines kept moving at a comfortable place. There were guides in every room to answer questions. Picture taking was allowed. It was a step back in time. I'm glad we got a chance to go.?

With three miles of beach, this state beach appeals to nature lovers.
Lots of sites! Not much space between sites but people didn't seem unhappy about it. Our site was near the Camp Store so we had amazing internet - they have a cupola with benches for others to use to get wifi. It's a really pretty park with tons of trails and a huge long untouched beach front. Squeeeky sugar sand! Lovely.

The staff at check-in and check-out were very friendly, competent, and helpful. Although at first we were disappointed that the campsites were not on the ocean beach, we fell in love with our private, heavily shrubbed large site. The weather was turbulent, with a huge rainstorm with high winds and cool cloudy days, however I got to ride my bicycle to the beach a few times and visited the shops downtown. The bathhouse of the 30 amp smaller camper area is central with paths out to the sites like wheel spokes but reflectors or solar lights marking the path would be a big help at night. The bathhouse was heated, with clean private hot showers, a joy! Although it was much too cold, even if it was hot, the alligator sign on the lake path would have deterred me from swimming in the lake! It made for a great pic to send my grandchildren!

This was a wonderful dining experience. The place is crowded, so we got there at 5 and had to wait about 30 minutes. The live music was a plus and fun to listen to. People are packed in here, so a stroller, walker would not fare very well. The menu is limited, but allows for a quick delivery of the food. We enjoyed the Mostaccioli, Mahi-Mahi, and the Eggplant with shrimp. The chicken fingers the children got were plentiful and the French Fries were some of the best we have ever had. Parking is very limited, but the town is small and just keep driving around to find a spot.

We had 3 young adults and Dad (me), 2 who had really never fished before, so while I and my son really like to fish hard, my daughter and his girlfriend were my biggest concern wanting them to have a good experience. From the moment we connected via phone I new Captain Mark was right for us. He clearly had the patience and made sure each any everyone of us caught fish. I was so pleased the girls had a great time. We saw dolphins, sea turtles and caught Amberjack, Vermillion, Snapper, Pink Snapper, Scamp. It was awesome.
Now, I can't wait to come back with the guys and do some hard fishing with Mark. He clearly adapts himself to his fishing party but I saw some clear signs he could put a bunch of fisherman on some fish. I'll write that review next! Look forward to going out again with Captain Mark!
