Atlanta's premiere foot and body massage spa. We have curated a special blend of technique and sequencing to bring your body the greatest relief possible.
Best foot massage I have ever had - and a perfect environment to relax and enjoy some quality girl time with two of my best friends! The staff at For the Sole were so accommodating to our every wish. Each room is thoughtfully decorated to ensure the full relaxation experience with a theme - water, fire, etc. This is a great value foot massage and I strongly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and kick back for a bit of time. The room we had our massages in held up to 6 people which has me planning another girls get together soon. This would be perfect for you to take that special someone on a double date, a girls day out, you name it - a great option for relaxation! Daniela was an excellent massage therapist and strongly recommend!

Recently I visited Island Ford Park for the first time. If you are looking for a peaceful hike with scenic views of the Chattahoochee River then look no further. On Thursday I hiked the two miles of trails that meander through the hardwood forest and along the river. I got a real sense of serenity just watching the geese while sitting on a bench located on a rock outcrop that overlooks the river. During my hike I also saw turtles, encountered two deer, and crossed a couple of wooden bridges. Really enjoyed my time here. Close into the city but you feel like you are miles from civilization. Trails are Dog friendly (must be on a leash); Ample parking ($5.00 daily fee). Open daily sunrise to sunset.

Beautiful views of the Chattahoochee river. There are 2 different areas. The first spot you come to has the great views with swinging seats to relax and watch the water. Has a paved walkway. There is a great playground and a pavilion for picnics. There are restrooms. There is a trail and the trail head is to the left of the restroom. The problem was we had no idea how long the trail was. The map said it had 3 overlooks. We started out and got to what might have been an overlook but we weren't sure. We turned around because trail was really muddy after a big rain. It was a nice walk in the woods. The parking lot is not that big so I am guessing it would be hard to get in during the summer. Further down the road on Georgia Power property is access to the river and a dog park. Another small parking area.

The Chattahoochee River National Recreational Area is a unique national park site in that it is made up of multiple units throughout the Atlanta area. My daughter and I visited the Island Ford area where the park visitor center is located in Hewlett Lodge. She filled out a junior ranger booklet in the lobby and was able to complete enough activities to earn a new badge. All of the rangers we interacted with were very nice and extremely helpful. There is a large parking area around the visitor center that does require a fee. There are pay stations outside where you display a receipt after paying. We walked along the trail behind the visitor center that runs by the river. There were quite a few people tubing and hanging out in the water. We walked by some of the large rock formations before heading back. We also went a few minutes down the road to visit the Vickery Creek unit. We parked in the Mill park area and took a short hike to the waterfall. We enjoyed our first visit to the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and hope to visit other units in the future.

The Museum is tucked in the back of a small shopping center on a busy street, Roswell Road. It offers a large number of photographs and commentary from her birth in Germany, to her move to Amsterdam and ultimate fate near the end of the War. Her family was on the very last train from Amsterdam to the camps before the War ended in Holland.
