Di Giovanna is a family owned and managed winery, located in the Nature Reserve of Monte San Genuardo, Sambuca di Sicilia. The winery and vineyards are certified organic since 1997. The family makes ten hand-made wines from their estate grown grapes to bottling in their fully operational wine cellar. Private tours of the vineyards, wine cellar and tasting of Di Giovanna organic wines and olive oil are available by appointment.

Fantastic wine tasting experience in West Sicily. Very welcoming hosts at one of Sicily's best wineries. Nothing too much trouble and very generous in pouring and opening bottles for you to try. Optional lunch a special experience under the fig trees in the courtyard - comprised pasta, caponata and dessert having already been given very generous antipasti during the wine tasting. One note - you need a hire car or driver to get here - very much off the beaten track however we'll worth travelling to find!

Spectacular sunsets! Located at the top of the main street, it is an easy walk through the town and totally worth it.

I loved getting lost in the little twisty avenues of the Arab Quarter! The town has done a great job preserving the character of this area and I love the art pieces that have been added. A must see in Sambuca!
