Orchard & cider mill owned by the Phillips family for over 162 years. Growing 36 varieties of apples, 15 varieties of peaches. Watch us press cider on a traditional rack & cloth press in the fall, horse drawn wagon rides on weekends in September & October. Free walking tours of the orchard or arrange for a guided tour with your group. Fresh donuts, bread and pies from the bakery.
We stopped to try the apple cider, as we are always on the hunt for an excellent cider, and were pleasantly surprised by the offerings in the barn. Handmade gifts, ranging from candles to pottery to linens, including many items from Michigan, along with Apples, apple cider, hard cider, and donuts. The only drawback to this stop is pulling onto 127 after shopping - traffic was thick and made entering the highway difficult.

The IQhub at AgroLiquid is a center for agricultural history, innovation, and exploration. Home to exhibits chronicling the advancement of agriculture from before the pilgrims set foot in the Americas all the way through the present day, the IQhub holds something for both the young and young at heart. Located inside AgroLiquid's world headquarters in St. Johns, Michigan, the 9,500 square foot ag education destination is complimented by a Kids' Korner where even the youngest groups can learn about the farm-to-fork connection. The IQhub is open to the public and admission is free. The IQhub is currently also hosting a guest military display, courtesy of Michigan's Military and Space Heroes Museum and individual collections.
They loved the tractor simulator. everything keeps them busy, plenty of hands-on activities. there is a walking path behind the building, just a wonderful place.

We’ve passed this cider mill several times on our trips up north and never had a chance to stop. So glad we were able to on our return trip home from up north. This place was busy...busy...busy. There is something enjoyable for everyone here. We wandered through the gift shops (some unique items btw), bought donuts in the bakery ( pies and different kinds of breads are also sold), checked out the hard cider brewery, and took pictures in their scenic spots. There was an extensive play area for kids with games and a big bouncy pillow that could accommodate several children. Pumpkin picking and hay rides are offered in the fall. Definitely a place for young and old.

Oh Mi organics is the most unique chocolate studio I have ever experienced. The owners are scientists who have devoted their energies to creating sweets that taste great and are good for your body, There was no hype here. We talked to the owners for 20 mins and really got an education. Their sweets are gluten and nut free and they offer vegan option. A sweet break in a charming old downtown.
