Afraid of the water? Cant swim? Don't worry! Its only an average of 3 feet deep. The Lagoon Activity Centre is a place where you can relax, feel free and take in the breathtaking serenity and beauty of West Cork and the Wild Atlantic Way. Why not take on West Cork's only and Munster's largest floating water park, rent a kayak, take the kids pedal boating, try your hand at stand up paddle boarding (SUP), or for the less adventurous, simply relax on our over water deck and pier and enjoy the local produce from our beach hut cafe.

We have been going on holiday to Rosscarbery for many years and always enjoy playing pitch and putt in the the Warren. The courses are very challenging. There is a great value weekly offer for families of €50. Highly recommended

We found Owenahincha Beach when walking the cliff path from Warren Beach in Rosscarbery. It was a chilly, windy, and rainy day - but we decided to beach walk anyway. So glad we did! Owenahincha is a long-ish beach to traverse. When coming from the Warren Beach Cliff Walk, there is a short distance of road, then you will approach the northeast corner of Owenahincha Beach. Because of the weather, the waves were high, the tide was coming in, and there were a ton of rocks on the beach. It was a great day to run along the water pools, collect rocks, and climb over the larger rock formations. We walked all the way to the end of Owenahincha, then took the path to R598, and continued walking until we came to the Fish Basket which is at the start of Long Strand. The rain had stopped, and the wind had died down enough, so we decided to eat fish and chips outside at the picnic tables for dinner while watching the surfers in the waves at Long Strand. After dinner, we returned to the Warren Beach car park along the same route we had taken earlier. This was a lovely way to spend a rainy evening in Ireland.

St. Fachtna's Cathedral has been a place of Christian worship for over 1400 years. The current cathedral dates from the 1600's, and was extensively restored in the 19th century. It is the smallest cathedral in Ireland, being the size of a small parish church. It is also the only cathedral in Ireland in which the bellringers can be seen from inside the building (see image) There's a guidebook.

We found Warren Beach by chance and we weren't disappointed. There was a life guard on duty and the beach was clean. Also there was public toilets and showers beside the beach. It was a nice day when we visited. It was enjoyed by all.
