although a little off the beaten track this museum is well worth a visit for its exceptional exhibitions. On alternate years it hosts international paper and textile exhibitions of work by contemporary artists. Between these exhibitions are a variety of other ineresting ones by mainly Dutch contemporary artists. The museum itself also houses a permanent exhibition of art and artefacts dating back to the 17th C, by or belonging to, local artists and notables.
