Well preserved and protected tomb that you can only visit with a guide from the visitor center, my guide was knowledgeable and his english was good, since all other visitors were Bulgarians he made separate explanations in english only for me. Pictures inside the tomb are not allowed. When you stay at the coast it is quite a ride through rural Bulgaria to get there, but I'm glad I did it

There is something very special and warm about this place. First, on the way down, everywhere on can see millions of cloth strips, tightened to the bushes, trees and the railing of the stairs, as the locals believe: "for health". That is a very ancient tradition. Then in the walls build by the Thracians thousand of years ago (recognized by the massive rectangular stones without cement) I saw an Alevi temple and old Bulgarian house, a secret pond, where on must drink for health, The stone where one must lay with the head down, the stairs at the back of the temple and the ancient temple itself. Astonishing place! The way back is very refreshing- around 10 minutes of walk up the stairs.

Abritus really put you into the 60(!) centuries history of the Razgrad area. Very nicely build, interactive approach for adults and kids. Especially tourists coming from the New World should immerse themselves here to understand that Columbus was yesterday, ancient Romans - last week.
