Just north of the city Mo i Rana you will find Arctic Circle motorcycle museum. Located just beside the mainroad E6 and the last gas station before the Saltfjellet mountain. The museum can easily be seen from the E6. The ACC motorcycle exhibition present rare vintage motorcycles from the 10s to the 70s, and our oldest bike is the oldest vintige mc in northern Norway. It also has a great war time exhibition from the battle of Norway during ww2. Visiting the museum outside the opening days?: please contact us.
We visited the Artic Circle Motorcycle Museum in October. Our good friend Ivar organised the visit as he is a old school friend of Benny. From the minute we arrived it was wide eyes and smiles all round. There was something for everyone, I went for the motorcycles but was amazed by the ww2 displays, Benny has so much knowledge about local involvement during the war and his stories are fascinating and some times unbelievable. The motorcycles were pristine and he had all the restoration stories, some had a bit of a chequered and sad history, without saying too much. It’s was easy to become engrossed in the displays, stories, feelings and atmosphere. It isn’t a huge museum but it packs a lot of punch. Thanks again Benny from Kenny Barbara and Mattia ???????????????????????????????????????????? I’m sure we will meet again ????????????

SCUBA DIVING ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME! Visit Plura is the place to go. The Plura cave is diveable all year round. With a fully equipped dive center and professional staff in place, you can get the ultimate cave diving experience. All levels of dive training is available on site, in addition to accommodation, rental gear, all gas fills, led weights, back plates, wings and basically all a diver needs. Courses are filling up fast so it is recommended to book in advance.
Visited Plura from 27th of December until 4th of January. Had a lovely stay, with great courses (cavern and Intro to Cave). The training made you very comfortable with diving the cave following the courses, and the cave itself is out of this world. To those of you concerned that you need X-thousand dives before entering the cave, I had just above 100 dives, and really enjoyed the courses:) On top of magnificent diving, Ina and Jani are very friendly, there was never any problems to borrow equipment etc. To top it all, we had the most lovely new years Dinner, sauna and Bath????????

Havmannen ("The Man from the Sea") is a granite stone sculpture by Antony Gormley located in the city of Mo i Rana, which is referred to in Norway as "Polarsirkelbyen" ("Arctic Circle City"). The sculpture is 11 metres (36 ft) tall and weighs 60 tonnes! It's amazing!

The roads are bumpy, and it takes 40 minutes to get there from the main road (follow the signs to Melfjordbotn, and then to Marmorslottet) but the walk is pleasant and the fast-moving river pretty spectacular! The walk is no more than 2 km along a well-prepared and well-signed path. Important to have good shoes, though, as parts can be muddy and slippery. There is a staircase at the end and then some clambering over rocks before you arrive at the river. A six year-old could do this as long as you are prepared for some mud and can keep them on a tight leash by the river.

Gronligrotta is one of the largest and most visited caves in the Nordic region. This is also the only Nordic cave with electric lighting. A guided tour takes visitors several hundred metres into the mountain and takes around 45 minutes. A café also providing accommodation and camping is located at Gronligrotta. The cave café offers a fantastic view of the Svartisen area as well as great hiking options nearby. Gronligrotta is situated 22 km north of Mo i Rana and 10 km from Rossvoll / E6.
I like the feeling of going in to the mountain, and this time in Gronligrotta. I had a guided tour for about 45 minutes. It is easy walking and it is so worth the money. I will go back- next time I prefer without a guide so I can stay there for longer.
