The Vintage Dove is a family run business based in Gillingham, Kent. A home interiors shop with a coffee corner. We specialise in Vintage furniture in the French Shabby Chic style. All of our vintage finds are one offs sourced from various places across the country. We really love what we do and get great satisfaction from breathing life back into once loved furniture. Older furniture always seems to be of a much better quality than modern pieces and upcycling and reusing them is also helping the environment. We have a lovely selection of home interiors, gifts, and cards. We are very proud to be a stockist of Autentico Chalk Paint and Jeanne d'Arc Living Magazine. Yo can also learn how to paint furniture using the Autentico range of products on one of our workshops. Please visit our website for more information.

I grew up in Rainham and the Mackland was a favourite of my Dad (Gerry Murphy) and, when I was older, me too. There was an owl in a cage on the bar years ago. The owners (Jan and her hubby) were always lovely. Beer was always good. Loos were terrible which, of course means great pub. One of very few local pubs left in the world worth saving. If you live near station road, hi and have a pint when they open

The Three Sisters Public house Rainham kent is privately owned by Bernard Woolmer and Gail Willoughby since 9th September 2015. Gail and I have strived hard over the last three years to turn the reputation of the pub into a friendly community pub. Currently the pub retails wet sales only, however the Three Sisters Kitchen will be opening next year providing traditional food, English breakfast all day and a carvery at the week ends.

A beautiful call back to Rainhams history when the church parish used to be all mighty. They have a service every weekend and have their own bell ringers that you can hear across Rainham :)

Outstanding local pub which I believe is under new ownership / management. Great friendly service, very reasonable pricing, well located and on with live music entertainment on occasion. Quickly establishing itself as the best place to go in Rainham for a wide range of people of all ages.
