What a fabulous little place! Came here yesterday with my 3 year old and 7 month old to make Christmas baubles, my 3 years old loved it and the lady was brilliant with both children especially the baby when trying to get handprints on the baubles! Thank you very much will definitely be returning!

1st class food again from the Moghul. Now Tier 3 is in place they have adapted really well, once you order your food you are provided with a ticket that the bar staff need to see as they deliver your drinks. The Covid set up is spot on from arriving to leaving, can't fault how they have adapted in difficult times

A warm and friendly traditional pub that was a really welcome find after a cold and wet walk along the Bolton & Bury Canal. Plenty of space but still a good atmosphere at 3pm on a Friday and a decent selection of snacks plus a great all day breakfast at amazingly low prices. Highly recommended if you need somewhere to eat and dry out!

Just always have a great time with my two boys in this place. Staff are amazing and so friendly - constantly cleaning stuff!!! My boys have their Birthday parties here most years. Food is as good as any restaurant in the area.

Visitors interested in local history will benefit from a visit to The Radcliffe Tower and the adjacent St Mary's church. Historically, the tower was originally a sanctuary for residents of the adjacent manor house whenever they may be under attack. The Radcliffe family, of Norman origin, settled here close to the river Irwell in the late eleventh century and took their new name 'Radeclive' from the nearby red cliffs rising from the river. Over the centuries ther have been various owners and several dwellings. The turbulent history is now acknowledged by this monument. The area was in a state of disrepair until the Bury council generously allocated lottery funds for an archeological dig and to refurbish the site in 2013. Their efforts were destroyed by a downpour in early 2016 which caused the river Irwell to burst its banks and submerge the site and the nearby St Mary's church. The site was later restored and the information boards added. Further information may be found in several books and also on Facebook (Friends of Radcliffe Manor) or on the Radcliffe Heritage website
