This is untouch beach, clean, charming with very pure water. this is the appropriate place for camping, picnic, swim, diving to explore the coral reef. Enjoy local seafood with nice local fisherman.

Quote a close to Quy Nhon this is recommended by locals as one of the best Beaches in the area. Frankly speaking, I can't fully agree with them. Yes, the beach itself is nice and it has been before secluded beach with only boat connection to it. We also took a speed boat trip here from Nhon Ly. But the problem is that in order to get full benefit of the beach, there is a road connection built now over the hills and serious construction is going on by the beach. Most likely to attract more tourist and give them services. But I personally felt this would work better being a secluded beach with lower amount of people and only basic services. There are already enough mass tourist Beaches so one could be saved for being this kind of secluded beach. Also the heavy construction and working people doesn't really make the mood better. And the increased people amount will affect to the cleanliness of the area, both water and the beach, which already showed signs of destruction.
One note. maybe not the best beach to swim with small children. Quote a strong and heavy waves around.

Impressive monument! Nice garden, the lady who keeps the place was so sweet and friendly
It's in the middle of the city between houses and shops, sadly the town is full developed around it, it kills its charm.
Quick bike long ride to get there tho from the beach, so it is worth it

We went here as part of an intrepid tour and am so glad that we didn't miss it. It was simply a pleasure to meet the young people that the centre and its staff teach and look after. We were given an introduction by the founder who really is a one woman tour de force. She set up the charity over twenty years ago and send genuinely proud by the students achievements.
The shop which sells a range of good quality products made by the students is a perfect place to but presents. Really a must do when in Quy Nhon.

The Island itself is nothing special. Unfortunately it suffers from a lack of facilities and is really a collection of ramshackle huts and basic toilets. A reasonable seafood lunch is provided
The waters around the island are clear and clean and worth snorkeling. Well worth taking your own gear though as well as reef shoes. The village that you access the island from is also typical with rubbish everywhere which is a great shame.

AVANI Quy Nhon Resort Spa

Reviewed By Cherepashka - UK

I was not staying in the hotel. Rather I would like to review their Spa facilities.
Spa is located in a wonderful Terrace overlooking the forest and the sea. You will be greated with rosella tea and cold lavender scented towel. Prices are a bit expensive for Vietnam and receptionist will not be able to describe you details of the treatments, but all in all, massages and scrubs are good enough.
But I decided to take the express manicure and pedicure on top. That was a mistake.
All they did is took off my nail polish and made their own. A bit of soaking, no scrubbing, no massage, no hand or foot cream and no pumice or whatsoever. This is not what you would expect for 40 USD in Vietnam.
And more than that - as soon as I was out my polish both on hands and on feet was in wrinkles and scratches though I did not touch anything for at least 20 minutes after the procedure.
All in all, Avani Spa was the biggest disappointment during my trip in Vietnam.

Quy Nhon is a small city in the Central Coast Vietnam. It belongs to Binh Dinh province that is known as martial arts land of Vietnam. This is not a tourism destination so it's peaceful, quiet, friendly people, cheap price. Like another Coast cities, it has very fresh sea food. Now, some places are developing to attract tourists but if you want to find somewhere not crowded, this is.
You can go to the top of Vung Chua mountain by motorbike (from Ghenh Rang, near the Queen beach). It takes about 15 minutes. This is the best place to see all of the beautiful city, graceful sea with natural beauty of Thi Nai lagoon, Phuong Mai peninsula and Thi Nai bridge - the longest cross-sea bridge of Vietnam.
