San Juanito is a lovely option to spend a day. Whether you only wish to eat lunch and have a glass of wine taking in the spectacular view of the vines and the Peña de Bernal or you wish to spend a whole weekend in their perfectly setup guesthouse, San Juanito has something for everyone to enjoy. One may go to this place with friends, family or significant other. They organise many events, including the traditional ones you would expect in a vineyard and/or winery like harvest festivals, and tours of the grounds accompanied by their expert enologist who explains the whole process of vine growing and wine making. San Juanito also offers carefully designed yet unpretentious but delicious dinners, luncheons, equestrian festivals and many more. Their proximity to the aerodrome and the quaint towns of Tequisquiapan and Bernal makes it the perfect setting for a hot air balloon ride and a romantic getaway or an adventure with family or friends. One could simply arrive any given weekend, order a delicious pizza, a glass of any of their multi awarded wines and sit in the shade of their terrace to enjoy the peace and quiet of this blessed place in the Mexican countryside. This is a great hike. It is completely doable, but not necessarily easy. You really must go as far as you can, The views above and below are awesome.

This tour is widely recommended. In our case we were lucky to have Miguel Cruz as a sommelier and guide. Miguel is very knowledgeable about everything to do with the property and services. He is definitely a great asset for this lovely place. We tried 3 different wines, all of them were so nice that at the end of the tour we bought 2 bottles to go, which price was very reasonable. Also I want to mention that the tapas we got while testing the wines were delicious. I will definitely visit again.

This tour involves a ride out to the boonies then getting in back of a pick up to go up to the mines, the tour guides help kids (and adults if your nice lol) bust rocks and find opals, if you need to relieve some stress and break some things and maybe find a treasure this is fun. I wouldn’t take a kid under 8 tho because it’s quite a bumpy ride up the mountain.

One of the most ornate of the historic churches of Queretaro, with unusual architectural arches on the exterior and elaborate wood carving and gilt inside. The massive grill at the back of the church walls off the area where nuns were once shielded from the world--even in church. There is also a small museum, open on certain dates and times.

Passion drives the way. Tere Cisneros runs this awesome place and she still welcomes the visitors warmly greeting everyone who wants to dive into the Mexican culture through the little dolls. Pay special attention to the faces, the rich details in each scenario. Definitely a must stop when visiting Tequisquiapan. We loved it!

Nice plaza to have a rest while enjoying an ice cream or soda. Has a lot of restaurants and stores, some art galleries, and handicrafted goods. By the afternoon close to sundown a lotof birds fly in circles around the plaza and finnally they go to their nests in the trees. Is really a nice and anazing spectacle.

I recently visited Tequisuiapan and its nearby attractions, itsa beautiful and subby town, the main plaza is beautiful as well as its church, except for the huge letters for the selfies that are so in fashinon mexico, everything else is beautiful. The whole place is intended fot tourists, so people are very nice and you can buy local specialties like clothes, wines and chesse.
