A group of 16 people from different countries join AJ adventures. We trekked to Cotopaxi, Quilotoa, Chimborazo. Swing and ride a cable car in Bano. Also went to the Pailon Del Diablo waterfall in Bano. Thank you Paul Aguilar who was our guide. He was fun and knowledge of Ecuador history and culture. He also let us stop by local free market and shop....Thanks our driver/cook Carlos who cooked lunch for us. We couldn’t have such a good time and safety trekking without two of you. Highly recommended.

Treks into the choco region rainforest. Tourism and volunteer programme.
As a group of four students, czech biologist Jan and our guide Raúl we had a very educating but also intense tour in the ecuadorian part of the rainforest Chocó. The tour started in Puerto Quito, where Raúl picked us up and took us to his house just a few minutes outside town. The next day we got up early to start our ~8h trek into the rainforest where we spent three nights in tents on a wooden platform Raúl built himself. The two days in the middle of the jungle consisted of walks to fantastic spots and talks about different aspects of the environmental importance and ecological exploitation of the forest by big companies. We could easily see that Raúl is highly interested in educating groups about these topics and spends his life working on projects like the Itapoa Reserve! Thank you, Raúl! We had a great time and learned a lot of things we didn’t even think about before this trip. I highly recommend spending a couple of days in the Chocó with Raúl and spread his word afterwards!
