We spent a week with all of our family in Wellington & took them to Sandbanks Provincial Park a number of times as they all loved the wonderful sandy beach & facilities The Grandchildren loved it & had a great time. It is so large & safe for the children as it is shallow for a long ways. Bring chairs & umbrellas & sunscreen.

Closson Chase is a quality-driven producer that has helped spearhead the birth of the Prince Edward County wine industry. Since 1999, it has been committed to creating distinctive wines that rival the world’s finest. Set in Hillier, Ontario, the estate is over 30 acres of south facing, limestone-rich soil under vine; planted high density to the classic Burgundian-varietals of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with small yields, French-inspired vinification and careful barreling in 100% French oak.
I visited Closson Chase on a whim and I am SO GLAD I did because it was the cutest vineyard I have ever seen. From the gorgeous purple barn that has been expertly restored to the gorgeous stained glass motif and garden patio set up, it was such a pretty little place. I did a wine flight tasting, sampling a white and 2 reds. The service was great - they gave us different glasses for each wine (I know this is standard practice but a few other vineyards I visited used the same glass for each different tasting), the staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. I loved the wines I sampled (1 white and 2 reds) and picked up a few bottles. They do not serve food, so to go at 2 or 3pm for just a wine tasting was excellent! I wouldn't hesitate to tell everyone to add Closson Chase to their County visit!

Amazing wines, Fabulous and knowledgeable staff and a family atmosphere! A Prince Edward County must!! The winery is set up in an amazing area, overlooking the sprawling vines. There is plenty of outdoor space to sip your wine, have a wood fired pizza and listen to live music. The staff is caring, very friendly and knowledgeable of the wine craft! A must stop in PEC!!

A small artisan winery with authentic hand made wood fired Neopolitan pizza, natural wines, in a rustic, charming setting nestled over a beautiful vineyard, many say is a true taste of Italy in Prince Edward County.
Awesome experience of my visit to TerraCello last weekend. I wasn't sure of what to expect as I chose to visit the place with my parents after reading reviews about the winery. Must say it was mesmerizing and a complete bliss. With a gorgeous decor, beautiful ambiance, most delicious and award winning wine (lush is the best) and an impeccably stylish playlist.........teamed up with delicious wood fired pizza made out of home grown olives and ingredients.......I can only see myself going back there soon. I congratulate Tony and the team for bringing up such exemplary presentation and experience to their customers. Way to go!

A nice short ferry ride on a scenic drive from Picton to Kingston. The 12ish car ferry leaves about every 15 minutes. You can walk, bike, or drive across.

Family owned and operated farm brewery located in Idyllic Prince Edward County. Every beer tells a story. Gaining inspiration from the rich County history and culture our family owned and operated farm brewery encompasses two 150 year old - heritage lumber buildings that were disassembled, moved and re-purposed as our bottle shop and tap room. Opening its doors in October 2016, Parsons brews are enjoyed throughout the County in restaurants and pubs. Our expansive beer garden features alfresco dining from our Outdoor Kitchen, enjoy the unstructured playground with your little ones nestled between a field of barley and a fledgling hop yard. It doesn't get better than this. Crafted Authentically. Brewed Sustainably. Shared Passionately.
My wife and I made the trip out to Parsons, and it was well worth it. The staff took all the necessary COVID precautions, which was nice. We were quickly served our beverages and took a seat on the extensive picnic table set up on the property. I thoroughly enjoyed the Double IPA, as you can see in the picture. My wife (not a beer drinker) really liked her artisanal raspberry & lime soda.

Lake on the Mountain is a unique geological formation with a wonderful view of the channel and ferry to Adolphustown across from the lake. We've visited many times over the years always taking visitors new to our area for a short visit. You may still be able to fish and canoe, but you must bring your own equipment. Nice place to stop for a picnic or even better support the Miller House and with seasonal craft beers and wonderful charcuterie platters to share to go with a nice glass of wine, a favourite among small groups...my favourite stop on our tourist route! The restaurant at the Inn by the Lake on the Mountain is a favourite of our sons to take his lady for special dinners.
