At Plum Creek Alpacas, we focus on raising and breeding an elite herd of colored Alpacas with outstanding bloodlines to produce champions with exquisite fibers. In addition to being a thriving alpaca breeding business, we are an up-and-coming "thing to do" in Prescott Valley, Arizona. We offer families, small groups, and schools with the opportunity to learn about alpacas and tour the farm, interacting with all the amazing animals on our farms. We give an educational tour - from the livestock guard dogs to the alpacas and the chickens, ducks, and turkeys. You will be able to feed some alpacas and we will try to catch a mom and cria (baby) for you to touch and feel. We end by showing you our gift store with end product some right from our animals.
Just back from a great adventure to the alpaca farm. What a fun and informational tour. The owners are anxious to share their knowledge and passion for their alpacas. Feeding andPetting these wonderful creatures was of course the highlight. It is quite hot this time of year so don’t forget your water.

Iron King Trail is a lovely hike through the Glassford Hill area of Prescott Valley. It will take you to the Dells in Prescott. Any length of hike is great to take. The scenery is beautiful, with clear blue skies, great trails, a extinct volcano (Glassford Hill) and plenty of plants to see along the way. Be sure to bring lots of water, and good hiking shoes. Have fun!!
