There have been great improvements and additions to the museum since they've opened, and it's become the perfect place to spend an afternoon with little ones. Lots of hands-on enriching activities, fun movies, and a super clean and organized environment. Our grandkids love coming here, and we love how we're able to interact with them on all the activities.

My daughter and I went for the food trucks! It took a few minutes to find parking but that wasn't a big deal! There were so many booths/vendors with different products, it was awesome! The music was a nice addition and the food trucks were awesome as well! We can't wait to go back!

During our annual visit to family in the area we stopped in for some of our favorite balsamic vinegars & olive oils. After sampling the lemon vinegar sweet pickles, I bought the pickling spice mix & vinegar to prepare my own at home. They were delicious! I could eat a jar as a snack & did. I even reused the brine 3 times with new cucumbers & sweet onions. Can’t wait to buy more next year! Thanks for your tasting station. We find new flavored oils & vinegars to bring home with each visit.

Being right off the freeway you'd think it would be easy access....WRONG!! One way in and out and no traffic control makes it horrible. Get ready to sit in traffic. Suggestion if going to a popular show or concert...either plan to get there more than 2hrs before or take a detour & come in from the south on Sprinkle.

The State Theatre has been a fixture in downtown Kalamazoo since 1927. The original founder of the theatre was Colonel William Butterfield. John Eberson was the renowned architect who designed the theatre. In line with theatre design conventions of the era, the idea was to create a unique atmospheric effect. The early roots of the theatre were found in the Vaudevillian tradition of performance. Many acts that frequented the State Theatre included opera, dramas, big bands, ballet, dance reviews, stage shows and movies.
The audiences here are the finest in the world. Small Venue Artists enjoy the setting. They return year after year. We love the ones that play and they love us enough to play again. We Dance in front of the stage. They play, we dance. They play we respond. Not a dead audience here.
