This whole area was a blast. You can drive your car right up on the brick and get a picture with you and your car in front of the sign. There are also several other murals and signs and other things to get pictures with all in this back lot. Even if you don't go look at the murals in the rest of Pontiac, this one lot is a ton of fun!

A great place to start your immersion of Route 66,housed in a historic fire station, several different rooms to venture through, my favourite the WWII stuff, some cool people work their, very friendly, well worth your time.

Very neat place, cars are amazing. If you have been to near by place, must visit spot. Bicycles are also there. Visit is free, only donations accepted.

This museum is an absolute gem and a must see for every American who can get there. There was a lovely, kind gentleman working there who is a retired Sailor and was a wealth of knowledge. They have literally thousands of artifacts and so much to see. I knew there would be uniforms in the museum but what I didn’t know is that all of the uniforms belonged to individuals around the area who had each served their country. Each uniform has the person’s ribbons and medals as well, and a QR code you can scan for more pictures and information of that person. It was a surprisingly emotional experience and I’m so grateful this was recommended to us. Pontiac and it’s residents should be extremely proud of their dedication to the country, to history and to patriotism!

Loved following the footsteps in town and finding the murals painted by "Wall Digs," which we learned about at the museum. Of course, the footsteps take you past shops and restaurants, but what a great way to see Pontiac. Loved it!!
