Handmade gifts The majority of which are made in Cornwall ( we only have one maker not in Cornwall) . You may be able to see the makers at work at the back of the shop. A keen interest in seaglass and beach finds, with a small display, for customers to view. Seaglass jewellery made from seaglass found on Polperro beach. Lots of lovely fused glass. woodturning, needle felting, artwork, ceramics and unusual gifts.

I’ve visited Polperro’s British Legion many times over the years and it just keeps on getting better. In the last couple of years there has been a gradual transformation from a fairly ordinary club into a cosy pub like venue that’s the heart of the community. The improvements have all been done in house, mainly with donations and volunteers, and it’s almost unrecognisable now and a great tribute to all those involved. There are good quality beers on tap, and when Covid allows, there are great music and open mike nights. It’s quite spacious so social distancing is easy and it feels as normal as any place I’ve been to in these difficult times. It has a great core membership and visitors are welcome. I always feel very at home here and couldn’t imagine not visiting the Legion when I’m in Polperro.
