Placentia (/pləˈsɛnʃə/) is a city in northern Orange County, California. The population was 50,533 during the 2010 census, up from 46,488 in the 2000 census. This includes the community of Atwood, which is included in the city of Placentia, and is located in its southernmost quadrant. Primarily referred to as a bedroom community, Placentia is known for its quiet neighborhoods.

Nice little garden nestled on the north side of CSUF. It has a lot of different plants and trees including tropical varieties so sometimes it feels like you're in a different place when walking around.
Went there when the corpse plant they had was blooming. (Blooms every 10 years and smells like rotting flesh) I was just curious what it would smell like haha but glad I went cause I got to check out the rest of the place.

The Nixon museum did not shy away from the Watergate scandal, they addressed it right up front in the introductory film strip and included a large display covering the details. Watergate was not what we walked away remembering, rather all of the accomplishments from the Nixon years in office. We were very impressed by the man and the manner in which his story was told within the museum.

The brewery is located in an industrial area with plenty of parking. The taproom is walled off from the warehouse where all the brewing happens and feels cold, sterile, and uninviting. The tap list is large and overwhelming, not necessarily a bad thing. There is a stack of flight papers for you to fill out on your own far away from the actual bar, making the whole experience seem impersonal, but I understand that this is done for speed. None of the staff was especially chatty or friendly and seemed more like bartenders than brew aficionados. I also find it off putting that they list members only beers on the regular tap list, I guess to tease you and show you what you are missing?
Honestly, the best thing about my experience was the food truck outside. Yes, the beers were good, but you might be better off buying some bottles to drink at home and promptly exiting.

It was decorated beautifully and excellent craftsmanship. The story line/theme was good but should have made it more interesting and allowed for more interaction through props. It was a perfect fit for 10 girls to each have a chance to get involved. Awesome backdrops, decor and sound effects. We almost escaped by 20 seconds!

Expectations were high for the entire family and Disneyland did not disappoint.
We’d been to Disneyworld in FL but never Disneyland. We really liked the smaller size of Disneyland. The weather was perfect during the day but got chilly at night. Not sure what we were thinking but we didn’t bring enough layers so most of us were pretty cold by the end of the day.

This historic property is tucked away in a quiet corner of Placentia, hidden by walls and trees, so you can easily drive by without even noticing it. If you do have the chance to tour the place, however, you'll discover an old house full of treasures and trivia, as well as a rambling garden with orange orchard and display of antique farm implements. We have visited twice, and both times the docents who gave the tours were full of interesting stories about the history of Placentia. Only drawback is the very limited opening hours; make sure you call ahead and verify that they are open and tours are available.

My favorite part of this hike was the hummingbird/butterfly garden. We spotted many birds drinking nectar from the flowers in bloom. We also enjoyed the Redwood Grove which smelled fantastic- but don’t expect giant trees. Tennis courts, dry beds, a pond, and cactus patches are also in this delightful park. Great place for a picnic.

It’s amazing how they’ve brought the world of Cars to life and make you feel as it you’re really in a southwestern landscape complete with ancient car fin-shaped flatirons! (But if you look really closely, you can see that a group of pigeons like to hang out on one of those formations. LOL.) This was easily our group’s favorite ride of the California Adventure park, and even my 75+ mother was up for going twice! It’s kind of like a cross between one of the storybook rides of Disneyland, and the Indiana Jones Adventure, although this doesn’t jerk you around as much as that ride does. You start off with a slow ride through some scenes from the movie, but you ride in a large stylized and independent vehicle (not like a regular roller coaster car) which holds up to six people, and you end with a race through that Cars scenery. It’s fun and is over way too quick. When we got to this ride, there was a 90-minute wait in the regular line, but the attendant said if our group of three used the single riders line and rode separately to help fill in the car capacity, we could get on much quicker. We did that and were through the line and riding within 15 minutes. We did the same thing later when there was a two-hour wait in the regular line and were riding within 30 minutes.

Stereo Brewing is a new microbrewery in Orange County, CA. They opened mid October and are creating a following.
We stopped out a couple of weeks ago and found the brewery light, bright, clean and welcoming. They are spinning vinyls and the music is great.
The tasting room is a nice size with a fairly large bar along with tables. We found the beers to be really quite good and were lucky enough to be the second one to taste their most recent creation, Love and Mercy. Later in the day they had a food truck coming and into the evening a live band.
The staff was fantastic, fun to talk to and we enjoyed chatting about their beers.
This brewery is a great one!
