During summer, we offer both day and multi-day Surf Tours. During winter, whether you are a skier, snowboarder or an outdoor adventurer we have snow tour options for you.

Mercer Bay Loop

Reviewed By thebackpacker2 - Auckland, New Zealand

Where do I start.. It was incredible! You wouldn't believe Auckland has views like that! The best part was, I had the whole place to myself! I couldnt find anyway to get there so I took the Piha bus with Trippy and asked the driver if he could drop me at the start of the track. It's well worth getting to if you have the time and love hiking! There is also a trail that leads down to Karekare beach and ofcourse from the road, you can walk down to Piha.

This day with guide Jo was loads of fun. It was truly amazing to drive one hour out of Auckland and experience the glorious Wild West Coast. The walks and the beach were stunning and the food at the Piha cafe has excellent. Jo was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide.

Kitekite Falls

Reviewed By suetawa - Wellington, New Zealand

Kitekite falls is less than 30 minutes walk from the end of Glen Esk Road. Plenty of parking. It's a great Waitakere's bush walk through lots of native bush on a variety of board walk, gravel tracks and stairs. Easily completed by our 6 year old - and the 2 year old walked most of it too. You can do part of a loop coming back so you don't come down the way you went up. The kids enjoyed walking across a river (over stepping stones) on the way back. There is currently shoe cleaning in place to prevent the Kauri die back. Lovely spot to stop for a picnic - or if you're keen a swim below the falls.

West Coast Gallery

Reviewed By JacquimNZ - Auckland, New Zealand

This quirky little gallery features only west coast artists. You'll find everything from cheap cards to pricey paintings, from tiny sculptures to massive wood carvings, jewellery to, well I'm not sure about tea towels. It's staffed at weekends by the artists themselves, and it levies a much smaller commission off them than most. It's a fab place to buy anything from presents to investments - some of the artists included are well-known in their own right. Highly recommended, and because it's small, stock rotates frequently, so return visits are suggested.
