This is one of the most beautiful Buddha images we had visited around Thailand, plus the weather in December is so nice to walk around and taking pictures

One of the coldest trips up here , the roads were very steep and dangerous. Weather was excellent to those who like to experience cold weather. The hotel we stayed did not have much of a warm comforter , simple blankets so best to wear a jacket to sleep.

Good 360 degree view of the place. Unfortunately can't really see the sea of clouds in August. An area to view sunrise. Possible to camp here as well.

This wat is impressive as it is topped by a giant Buddha image. Inside is an informative museum/education center, and out back a beautiful lake with pagoda. The legend behind the Wat is really interesting. The whole thing is worth investing a few hours.
