We were here for the FMCA RV Rally and convention. Rv rallys has been here often because the fair grounds are so accommodating. There were over 2,400 motorhomes in attendance and everything seemed to run smoothly given there was such a large number of units trying to get parked at the same time.

The Go Fish Education Center takes visitors on an educational journey through Georgia's watersheds to learn about our diverse aquatic wildlife, their natural habitats and the impacts of water pollution. Beyond that, the Center serves as a great resource of fishing information for any level of angler - where to go, what to use and when. We have over 170,000 gallons of aquatic exhibits that feature fish from the mountains, piedmont, coastal plain and swamp habitats of Georgia. We also have freshwater and saltwater fishing simulators, hunting simulators and a pond where you can try out your fishing skills. We are a Georgia Department of Natural Resources Facility. Open hours are Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm. Tuesday - Thursday we do field trips or group tours. These need to be scheduled in advance.
No brainer here, wanna learn about fishing, fishing conservation, fish species and Georgia water bodies and how to preserve and enjoy them , this is the place for Young's and the not so young, the place have activities for any age and a fish stocked pond with all the gear, bait and a friendly staff to help you learn how to bait a hook, handle a pole, cast it, hook a fish, reel it, unhook it and returns the catch with minimal damage for others to enjoy! What a blast and awesome experience for anyone to enjoy, learn and have a good time for a cheap price! Kudos for the outstanding staff!!

Enjoy shopping, dining and history in the quaint downtown area of Perry, Georgia. Home of Sam Nunn and The New Perry Hotel, this wonderful small town is just glowing with pride and beauty. Enjoy an afternoon stroll in the unique shops on Carroll Street and later enjoy a fabulous meal at any of our downtown restaurants.
Downtown Perry is a nice area. Only about 6 blocks total, there are plenty of shops, restaurants, resting places (benches), and shade. This would be a very nice lunch or dinnertime walk through the area and then stop at one of the restaurants for some excellent food.

We are local Bohemian Bath Body Gift Store, leading supplier of Natural Life products in Middle Georgia. We offer locally made bath body products along with gifts and boho chic clothing. We believe in creating a product that is not only good for you but also makes you feel good. We believe that the positive vibes that embody us as we create our products is passed on. We hold our standard as makers pretty high by employing talented folks who not only truly love what they do but enjoy the camaraderie and interaction with each other. Other companies like to fill their time with activity. Ours is filled with laughter. Know that the next time you purchase that bar of soap or that body lotion, we made it special just for you.
Love this store and the music played while shopping!! The handmade bath products are amazing, including men's beard oil!! The artisan jewelry and soy candles are just what I was looking for!! Thanks for a great shopping experience!!

We happened to stop in Perry, Georgia simply by accident and without much planning. We saw the Fishing Education Center and decided to jump off 75 and try to find a place to stay during out last trip through Georgia.
Once we found a place we wandered back to that area and found the Flat Creek Public Fishing Area.
We weren't there too long because this was an unplanned adventure but with a little more planning we could have been there for a couple hours. My youngest son and husband love to fish so this was great for them.
Nice location, remote, and not too busy when we were there. I could see it getting pretty busy during the summer months though.
Well maintained and plenty of places to fish, including a dock.
Boat ramps available. Plenty of parking. Fish cleaning area.

Perry Players Theatre offers high-quality entertainment and cultural activities to the citizens of middle Georgia. Though it is an amateur community theatre, they strive for excellence and professionalism in all that they do. I have seen practically every show of the past five seasons and it is rare that they do not satisfy. There is nothing like seeing a show performed live. Put it on your "must do" list!!

Note that this park is in Perry, GA, not Warner Robins as it's listed here on Trip Advisor.
This park is listed as a "passive" park, which as I understand it, there aren't any events scheduled but it's open to the public throughout the day.
If you're into archery, this is the place. There are many archery "boards" set up so that many arrows can be thrown at any time.
There is also a playground, a charcoal grill, and other items that are conducive to a park where you can bring the kids or the dogs. You can have some privacy and enjoy yourself without the crowds.
Do stop on by. The park is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The Perry Welcome Center offers clean restrooms, a fenced dog run, free wi-fi, a picnic pavilion, free Georgia maps, free local & state-wide tourist info, free coffee for you, and a free dog treat for your pup. We also provide a free meeting space for area non-profit organizations.
The Perry Area Historical Museum offers a collection of artifacts & memorabilia from Perry's earliest days. Of particular interest to researchers is the Museum's Resource Room which contains many family histories & photos.
