Stayed at Rasa Sayang hotel. Crew at kids club was attentive and caring. Daughter enjoyed pool activities and get to select their own meal at Sigi restaurant. A shout out to crew at Adventure zone, he was very patient and encouraged my daughter to try the red slide with steep slope. Overall, facilities are okay but attentive staff makes up for it.

A beautiful house filled with antiques -- it is well worth waiting to join a guided tour in order to get the most out of your visit, as many of the objects in the main house have short (rather than detailed) labels for visitors to read. Our guide, Stanley, was friendly and knowledgeable, giving us a great insight into the history of the family who had built and lived in the house, as well as taking us through the extensive collections on display. Stanley was very happy to answer questions from our little group and made our visit a fascinating, very memorable one!

Really helps you with exploring the hidden historical gems of Georgetown. Art only 5 minutes wait at the worst and some of the most famous ones are surrounded with cafes, shops and street performers which add into the already amazing atmosphere!

The TeddyVille Museum is also the abode of Mini Penang, where miniature bears are dressed and placed in small sets that represent the many attractions that Penang has to offer. It is a cute and cuddly summary of the sights and experiences you should never miss upon a visit to our delightful island.
What a great little museum! Really fun and very informative!! Learnt all about history and culture of penang in here, which didn't expect. Our guide round the museum, Connie, was fantastic and all the staff were really friendly. Definitely add it to you list if your visiting batu ferringhi or george town.

It was my second time back at The Habitat and I was peer pressured into trying the new zip line course despite my fear of heights. Naturally, I was very nervous before going on the first zip line but once I completed it, it was so much fun I couldn’t wait to get on to the next one! In total there are five zip lines but for the first zip line, you can do this with a friend or someone else which makes it easier for your first attempt in my experience. More importantly, you have designated experienced guides who will follow you throughout the course and I felt like I was in safe hands the entire time as our guides were very professional, knowledgable and they explained everything you need to know and what to do before you take on the first zip line and later help guide you throughout the course. This is definitely a different and fun way to explore the rainforest. As you glide deeper into the forest, you get to enjoy more spectacular views and it keeps getting better. I highly recommend this, even to people who are scared of heights like me because it’s such an incredible experience and 100% worthwhile!

The fruit garden is truly amazing. A unique opportunity to sample nature and see up close what your food looks like and where it comes from. With over 150 species growing in the beautiful hill top farm. A guided tour explains (with expert advice) about the different types of fruit and how long they grow, their origins etc. A tour is a very worthwhile addition to your Penang holiday experience. My wife and I truly loved it and would highly recommend. We combined it the trip to the nearby Butterfly farm and made it a double date. After the tour you get a fruit drink and an opportunity to sample the organic produce of the farm. The farm also sells their own products such as organic coffees, cosmetics, honeys and teas etc. Truly awesome. A nature with some 'extra nature' date was just perfect. Thanks.

Penang is a veritable haven for Indulging in local foods. It’s a real foodies’ delight. If you love hawker foods, there’s no better place to regale your senses. Nothing you would have tasted elsewhere, be it in Malaysia or SINGAPORE, would come close to the diversity, tastes, flavours and value for money Penang offers. From Peranakan, to Chinese, to Malay and Indian, the bustling food scene is a testament to the rich, thriving multiracial culture of Penang. On my recent trip to Penang I spent much time uncovering the food treasures of this island and one place which particularly stood out was the busy shopping area of Jalan Penang which had some of the best local foods the island had to offer. TOP on the list was the famous Teochew Chendul at Lebuh Keng Kwee, a small, narrow street off the main Penang Road. This is one chendul stall which amassed huge popularity since its beginning in 1936. The taste is surprisingly quite good. The mixture of fresh coconut milk mixed with gula Melaka, red beans and green jelly bits make for a mouth-watering treat. At RM 3.30 per bowl it’s really good value. There’s always a queue of eager people here Son be prepared to wait 10-20 minutes. Further down the same street are couple of shop houses which serve local favourites such as Rojak, Assam Laksa, Fried Kway Teow, Curry Mee and Prawn Mee. All of them were irresistibly delicious. Walk down Jalan Penang and you’ll come to Lebuh Tamil where you’ll witness another phenomenon - an extraordinarily long line of people waiting patiently for ice kachang! This is an Indian hole-in-the-wall stall which serves the famous Ais Tingkap desert made with shaved ice. Nearby is another Indian shop selling its famous “Muruku,” packed neatly for travellers to take home. The muruku is spicy, crunchy, and tasty. Perfect as a lasting memory to the unique favours of Penang.

Nice beach with clean water, rocks and shady, verdant trees on parts of the shore and all over the distant hill. There are parking spots, a clean toilet for RM 40 cents and showers for RM1. The road is curvy and hilly. Definitely a very pleasant drive.
