Afro Divers is a new diving center in Pemba, one of the last untouched paradises in the Indian Ocean. World class reefs and wall diving!

This idyllic peninsula is a picture-perfect paradise of white sand and crystal-clear azure water.
From the lighthouse you have a stunning view over north part of Pemba! When the tides are right you can also see the sand bank from there!

I sent a few days diving with the dive team out of the Manta Resort, the team there were very friendly, very experienced and made time to ensure that all levels were catered for. I usually take my own equipment but due to the weight restrictions on the flight I hired a full set which all functioned correctly, if you considering diving Mohammed and Mandela we look after you no matter what your level.

The reserve is situated in a beautiful location between fields and villages. The bats rest in the trees during daytime which is a good opportunity to see them. I think you need to have a guide which can be contacted on the location. It can be quite wet on a rainy day. To see thousands of flying bats is a truly unique and captivating experience.
