I only go to the Peanut Pub for Trivia Tuesdays as my wife and I don’t drink, but the selection of beverages for those in our group that do is impressive. The atmosphere is pleasant as well. Also, one can never go wrong with free peanuts. My friends and I would definitely be frequent fliers if specialty non-alcoholic (non-fountain) drinks like craft root beer were available.

We took the tour of the Vermeer Windmill ....our tour guide was Arlyn...he was great, very professional with much knowledge...the tour was well worth the cost...so much to see and learn....it all gave a feeling of being in the Netherlands....which we all know isn't possible with Covid about :( We will visit again...it was a cold windy day when we were there, but the tulips were beautiful. You should definitely visit Pella, Iowa...the town was spotless and Covid protocol was followed to protect visitors and townfolk.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Historic, beautifully restored opera house. We took the self guided tour and can’t wait to go back for a performance. The stained glass, lace curtains, pressed tin ceiling were all beautiful!

It was interesting to learn more about the Dutch people who came from the Netherlands to Iowa in the late 1840s. Unlike some museums, it doesn't go overboard on signs to read. Sometimes is less is better. The museum includes a school and play room, house and church, and lots of examples of Dutch clothing from various parts of the Netherlands. It does have 2 floors and does not have an elevator.

We have visited this place twice in the last month(Groupon) and have enjoyed the staff, the throwing, hammering, and playing games that this location offers. You can bring your own alcohol and snacks or you can buy pop or snacks from the staff. They were helpful in getting us started for first time throwers, but gave us space to play games and have fun. The location is just off of Highway 163 so it’s easy to get to, and afterwards you can continue into Pella to the bakery or various yummy restaurants. I highly recommend this as a stress reliever! If you’ve never done this before give it a try!

Number One wife woke up this morning with a determined look on her face, We were going out for lunch today and no "ifs ands or buts." She chose NT&G for a different dining experience. Great choice! The family owned and run establishment has lots of parking in a lot shared with another restaurant and also there is amble street parking. Masks required during the Covid season. The tables are spread out to a proper social distance and the staff wears masks. Great place for golf fans and kids. There are several places to play indoor golf on large screens and they also have similar set-ups for miniature golf. If you don't mind occasional "wacks" from golf clubs hitting balls the surroundings are good fun. Lots of TVs showing sports and while we were enjoying ourselves they had Sponge Bob playing on a wide screen for a delightful little boy. There is a full bar with adult beverages and a few tap beers to enjoy. Mostly hotdogs on the menu, BUT what hot dogs. This place is hot dog heaven. Number one had a Buffalo Dog with lots of Jalapeno Peppers and other assorted add-ons. I had a Rueben Dog with sauerkraut, onions, swiss cheese and thousand island dressing. The buns were great - best I have ever had. The dogs come with kettle chips and if one has a large appetite there are some other goodies on the menu such as mac and cheese. Our waiter was the father of the owner and he was super friendly. Decent prices on everything. Will return again and again.
